Italy Tour Reviews
Honest insights from past guests on our 1-Day Italy tours
We really enjoyed the Borghese Tour with Giovani. By limiting the number of people in the Borghese, we could really view the artworks. Giovani was very informative and did a wonderful job of describing the story behind the various pieces.
Our guide, Mos, was brilliant. We found him knowledgeable, attentive and enthusiastic about Venetian culture and food. The food was fantastic, each dish was perfect and we felt that we experienced real Venetian food. We feel that ending the tour with a coffee and something sweet would have enhanced the experience, since drinking coffee is such a tradition in Venice. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Our tour was wonderful and a great start to our few days in Venice. Moses our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and took us to some interesting locations to try the local cicchetti and wines. He was very helpful with ideas and recommendations. I would certainly do a Walks tour at the beginning of any other city breaks I may do in the future and my sister will be booking the New York Food and Wine tour when she visits there later in the year. Many thanks. Sarah McGrath
The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, made sure that we saw all the most important art (there is so much to see, it can be overwhelming) as well as explaining not only what was depicted but how the artist felt while creating his art. The tour size was perfect and having headsets was a huge help since it can get noisy/busy.
This is an ideal tour for an overview of the Vatican getting to pass the lines and then listen to a very gracious and knowledgeable guide was good value for the money certainly better than trying to do a self-guided audio tour, and for our purposes, the right amount of time to spend there. Camilla was a fantastic guide.
I went with my mother who usually has trouble keeping up with tours - this one was the perfect pace, and the guide was attentive as well as extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I can't recommend this tour highly enough! She helped with my peanut allergy at the gelato place as well, and everything was smooth sailing. If I make it back to Rome there's no question, I'd purchase this tour again.
