Australia is as diverse as it is large. Tour the outback and explore the country’s vast remote interior (don't miss the iconic Uluru Rock formation) before heading to the Gold Coast for some of the world’s best surfing. Finish your trip with an incredible diving experience at the Great Barrier Reef, or head to Sydney to see the famous Opera House and Bondi Beach.

Whale Watching in Sydney: All you need to know
Each year, whales migrate up Australia’s east coast from their feeding grounds in the Antarctic to their mating and calving grounds in the Coral Sea. Whale sightings in Sydney are common, as around 15,000 whales swim past Sydney annually, making the whale-spotting season an unusually long one. Anyone who has been whale watching in Sydney during this annual migration cannot help but be entranced by these majestic giants romping in warm waters. Visitors can readily see the famous humpbacks and southern right whales from onboard a whale watching cruise, from the air on a scenic charter flight, from a cliff top trail on North and South Head, and even occasionally from the shore, as the ever-curious whales are known to swim right inside Sydney Harbour.

My trip of the Highlights of Australia/New Zealand. It was a great trip with great sights and great Trafalgar and AAT Kings representatives who were great help. They helped when issues arose for the trip and the travelers. They all were very friendly and kind.

Couldn’t speak more highly of the tour director Caralyn and bus driver Edson. We had a wonderful holiday because of them and AATKings which we thank you for. Carolyn was the most most knowledgeable, helpful, kind, passionate tour director we have ever had or known for that matter.. Certainly will book another tour with AAT Kings as long as Carolyn is the tour director. Jill and Robert Lock

This trip delivered a comprehensive journey around Tasmania with a good balance of time on our own with organised activities. The organised activities were able to be enjoyed by most of those in our group including a couple of folk using walking frames while facilitating the availability of more physical exploring from those of us who wanted that. Both our tour guide and driver were excellent and looked after the diverse group competently and with great care.

Fabulous coverage. Fabulous food & hotels. It was summer but you need to tell your tourists that winter clothes are needed. Tasmania has beautiful natural scenery plus very clean air.

What an amazing place is Tasmania! Friendly people, stunning natural scenery jam-packed with history from the first nations to the convict era. AAT Kings struck a perfect balance of curated destinations with comfortable travel and accommodation. Our tour director, Carolyn and driver Esdon, were knowledgeable, professional and took care of every detail on the tour. Thanks for an amazing experience.
