The Country Roads of Southern Italy and Sicily was our third tour with Insight Vacations. Once again we were not disappointed. The itinerary allowed for the group to experience the major sites in Southern Italy as well as Sicily. The tour guide, Guissepe. did an outstanding job communicating with the group and was always available to help provide information. The group dynamics were outstanding and everyone got along very well. There was a healthy balance of walking, sightseeing, and time on the bus. The choice of hotels were very good and we were satisfied with the selection except for the Isabella Hotel. We did not feel that the Isabella Hotel lived up to a four star rating. It truly lacked a customer service culture. By the way I want to also give a shout out to Simone, the bus driver. He did an amazing job navigating some of those challenging roads. Overall, a very memorable tour with excellent leaders and group. We have already been in touch with a few individuals from the tour.

Incredible journey. Our travel concierge, Susan Williams was the absolute best. The organization and pace were just right. Never felt hurried or rushed and able to see so much of the country. The special touches, such as the Tuscan cooking class, truffle hunting demonstration and private tour of the Doge's palace added a whole new dimension to the experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The tour was just fabulous- so many wonderful sites and experiences. Our tour guide, Cinzia, was passionate, organized and knowledgeable. We were in good hands with our bus driver Danielle too. As favorite things go, 2 things come to mind, the olive farm of Nicola Clemenza. Tour & Food were really great. And seeing Mt. Etna out of our hotel room in the morning then going there followed by a special little lunch in a rather remote area was memorable. Even the sheep came by!
