An Unforgettable Adventure with an Amazing Guide It was an experience I won’t forget! From start to finish, our guide Matteo was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly friendly, making the journey both safe and enjoyable. The trails itself was breathtaking, with stunning views, diverse terrain, and just the right balance of challenge and enjoyment. Our guide provided fascinating insights about the local wildlife, plants, and history of the area, which added a whole new layer of appreciation to the hike. He also made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable, adjusting the pace when needed and offering helpful tips for tackling tougher sections. One of the highlights was reaching the summit, where we took in an incredible panoramic view.. Matteo even surprised us with a small snack break, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend booking a hike with Explore if you’re looking for a well-organized, fun, and educational adventure in nature. Can’t wait for the next one!
I love G Adventures for the small group size and mix of guided activities, optional activities plus free time. It suits people who do a bit of research ahead to time so they utilize their free time well, such as getting reservations for the Uffizi or other highly sought after places. The price is great. Being on a van rather than a large tour bus, due to the group size of 12 was so enjoyable.
Our tour manager Micaela made our trip fun informative and we experienced feeling like I was not a tourist but a family member exploring stories and beautiful Tuscany and my favorite Cinque Terre even when we were caught in a downpour Exploring the towns mingling with the people felt like family and the foods were delicious. It was magical and our tour manager she made it a wonderful and unforgetful time
Our tour guide was the best we've ever had, just fantastic. The first hotel was okay, not great, but okay. The hotel in Bologna was great. Overall it was a great trip, and we enjoyed staying working from a central location and not having to move hotels each night.
3 days in Rome and 8 days in Tuscany. The cooking class was so much fun. The scenery in Cinque Terre and San Ghiamngi was over the top. The whole experience was wonderful. Touring all the churches in Rome was beautiful. The architecture, WOW. All the city's in Tuscany were so quaint and so full of history. Loved the stories in Sienna of the Paleo horse races
I have several memorable experiences. We loved Sienna and Luca and Bologna was a pleasant surprise. I noticed this trip had very nice included excursions; infact many more than usual such as hands on cooking classes, wine tastings, balsamic factory at someone's home, 2 cheese factories in addition to the walking city tours with private time. This trip was a pleasant surprise which included off the beaten path excursions all in one trip.
