Denmark Tours and Trips

It’s no wonder Denmark is continually being listed as one of the happiest countries in the world. Copenhagen is a cyclist’s dream, also offering walking tours to its visitors. To the East, Aarhus has a fascinating open-air museum dedicated to the country’s timbered houses, while the port city of Helsingør has many museums and even a castle just waiting to be explored.

Denmark Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our Denmark tours

David C. | Traveled in July

Norway, Denmark, and Sweden landscape was amazing. Our tour director was such a joy to be with. She was considerate of everyone on the tour and we always felt taken care of. This tour is one of my most spectacular and memorable. The fjords were amazing.

I had the trip of a lifetime and it was an amazing experience for me. I had not been on a major holiday in many years and it was more than I expected. Our tour director was absolutely amazing and was so knowledgeable about everything. She catered to our group and looked after us from morning till night. She made it. Try enjoyable for myself. The itinerary was fantastic and I actually would do this trip again. But I am looking at doing Switzerland on the trains next. I enjoyed having my own room as the days were very busy so it was nice to relax at the end of the day

It covers a lot of ground, but was exactly what I had hoped. So many beautiful places! Our driver was excellent on the many challenging roads, and our tour director was very experienced, and could speak the languages of all three countries. Our entire group was pleasant and easy to travel with. All in all, an incredible tour!

From the start, we were greeted warmly and our safety and comfort was cared about throughout. The tour included breath taking scenes of nature, multiple waterfalls, and historic cultural excursions. We loved the various modes of transport in addition to the air conditioned coach, ferries, river cruises, trams and trains. The accommodations and food services were good value for our money spent.

Broad variety of excursions from large urban cities to small villages. The scenery is spectacular. Danny, the Insight tour guide, was terrific - impressive level of knowledge (both current and historic) about Scandinavian history. The local guides were super.

The overall itinerary was excellent but a highlight was the days around Geiranger. The snow-capped mountains, fiords, waterfalls, rivers, ice fields, lakes and quaint villages surpassed my already high expectations.

Travel Tips

  • Cycling is extremely popular in Denmark. Most Danes own a bicycle, and Copenhagen has been designed to be one of the most cycle-friendly cities in the world. Be sure to rent a bicycle for a true Danish experience.
