Tuscany Tours and Trips

Tour manager was great. Very professional and organized with some great fun facts and light humor. Florence was fabulous. Day slightly shortened due to stop by Poliza. Loved Cinque Terre. First night dinner at the local restaurant was the best.

This tour is by far the most beautiful travel experience we’ve had! From beginning to end we were delighted with the rich culture, history, beautiful landscapes, superb food, and lovely accommodations in Umbria and Tuscany. Our tour guide, Ben, was absolute perfection. He guided us seamlessly through so many beautiful places, enriching the experience with delightful stories along the way. Our favorite experience was interacting with the locals at the truffle and olive oil farms, and the family who invited us into their home and regaled us with piano playing by their son. All of the towns we visited were so quaint, and the churches were incredible. The local tour guides provided terrific insight. The memories of this tour will last a lifetime. I could not recommend it enough!!

Unbelievable week with wonderful people, an incredible tour manager in the most beautiful place in Italy. A couple of my favorite parts of the trip or a hot balloon ride over Umbria and a lunch with a local family on the hills of Tuscany at their home.

My room and the stay at the Villa Casagrande provided the unique experience of a luxury, Tuscan villa. It was relaxing to return after our day excursions to be the lucky recipients of Anna & Julia’s outstanding hospitality!! The delicious, farewell dinner with MUSIC and flowing wine was the perfect ending to an outstanding week!

Great week discovering mountains of Tuscany Accommodation was great; going back in time, with comfort. Food outstanding. A family atmosphere all around. Great hikes, some more difficult, but it was all detailed in notes. Loved the Medieval walled city of Lucca, on day off.

Our local, knowledgeable, professional and kind tour manager made the trip! All the accommodations were great but Hotel Villa Casa Grande was the cherry on the cake! The fact that everything on the tour was taken care off was a peace of mind. The coach bus driver was so professional as well. I felt safe with him at all times. The ratio of tour time and free time was well balanced in my opinion. Florence, the town it self was my least favorite. The town is beautiful, but it was so extremely busy in the center of it all that enjoying it was difficult. The dinners and lunches with the group were overall great. The only dinner that was disappointing was in the hotel in La Spezia. Fish was served for all courses. I believe a choice should have been given. And they should have made the ambiance more appealing. Breakfasts were great at all accommodations. Overal a great experience was had!
