Italy City sightseeing Trips

Way an awesome itinerary! It will keep you busy and there is a lot of walking so just keep that in mind. But so worth it. We saw so much of Italy and we’re very happy with the entire experience. Our tour guide, Patrizia, was awesome, the coach was comfortable. Keep in mind hotels in Italy are small but it is what it is. But they were wonderful. Many choices at breakfast to start your day. So glad we went with Trafalgar!

This was our first trip to Italy and the Great Italians Cities tour hit everything you would want to see. Staying in each location for three nights and having free time to explore on your own gave it a more relaxed feel. Our tour director was fantastic! Definitely recommend this tour through Trafalgar.

It was fantastic and I highly recommend Trafalgar to anyone looking at do a guided tour. One thing I have to say is that there was way more walking than the pre-trip info indicated. This was not a problem for us, but there were a few folks who struggled with this. We have step monitors on our phones and one guided tour it was 7km, again, we were fine with it and it is what it is, but some folks may want to do some walking to get into walking shape, beforehand or do a less distance tour.

This is one of my favourite tours so far. Sicily is an island full of adventure and the tour allows you to dip in. The pace is great, not too fast but we covered lots of ground. Everything was made easy thanks to our fabulous guide Antongullio who looked after us all. Nothing was too much trouble. We started in Palermo which is the most incredible city; full of historic palaces with breathtaking mosaics, chaotic streets, markets bursting with colour and local produce, food of such variety and fabulous ice cream! On to the middle of the island and the anti-mafia museum which was so humbling and brought the challenge to life. Wine makers, tomato growers, farm houses, food and greetings everywhere ending up in Ortiga with more beauty and history. This is my first trip to Sicily but it certainly will not be my last. Ive read Giorgio Locatelli's Made in Sicily book with a greater understanding since Ive been home and cant wait to return.

So many wonderful, memorable experiences were packed into this 10 day trip. Plan on walking 10,000+ steps each day except long travel days. Loved the optional experience dinners; well worth the extra cost.

This trip requires hustle and as long as the clients are anticipating a fast pace, early morning, long bus rides and late nights (getting to your hotel as late as 10:30pm) then they will experience one of the best trips of a lifetime.
