Breathtaking scenery and vast natural resources mean Canada certainly looks good, but it isn’t just about looks. The country is also home to a fascinating mix of cutting-edge culture, a plethora of adrenaline-inducing activities and unique northern wildlife. Although often overtaken by its next-door neighbor in terms of luring global travelers, it is every bit (if not more) beautiful and equally exciting.  View our Canada tours below.

The only negative issues with this tour are related to the itinerary. At times the tour leader was trying to accommodate many different option choices which required her to drive various people in different directions and pick them up again on the same day, as other transport options were limited. This must've been very tiring for her, as she was managing a tightly scheduled tour and doing all the driving- often whole days of driving- at the same time. She seemed to have a different list of visits to the published itinerary at times, and was concerned her agency might penalise her for not visiting everything on it, so perhaps more liaison with the agency is needed here. Whilst she was generous enough to offer to cut out a walk on one day so we could spend more time in Victoria, this meant out voting another member of the group who wanted the walk. I would recommend changing to this on the itinerary anyway, so that a whole afternoon is spent in Victoria, which is a really charming place. There also seemed to be a very long diversion just to see bears and whales which could've been seen elsewhere on the trip. The element that really made the trip was our tour leader Manon, who constantly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. She was always enthusiastic and energetic, and worked hard from the start to bond us, so we were a very happy and integrated group during the trip. She organised a WhatsApp system of voting for choices of restaurants or trip options, and made some great recommendations, and she helped by buying picnic food for a small group of us to share for some of the lunches, and also took us to supermarkets so we could buy our own lunches. Accommodation and food was generally of a high standard, and whilst I believe several people would request the inclusion of hotel breakfasts, I would've found the extra cost off putting, as this has been the most expensive tour for food and optional trips I've ever been on. This is an amazing holiday, seeing a variety of stunning landscapes from beaches to waterfalls, snow topped mountains and glaciers. Whistler was a high point, as was Lake Louise, and I would really recommend the peak to peak gondola, the zodiac bear watching trips, Fisherman's Wharf in Victoria and the harbour cruise in Vancouver.

This trip was fabulous… all the tour guides were knowledgeable and approachable. I must give credit to our coach driver; he drove us up mountains through, rain, fog, then bright sunshine. The itinerary included breathtaking stops but sometimes we were on such a time crunch that I wish we had a little more time to thoroughly enjoy each stop. I would definitely recommend this tour!

You'll have a great time on this trip! Lot's to see and do. Bring your camera because everywhere you look is like a postcard. Hope you like seafood because you'll get your fill. Please, take the time to enjoy this part of Canada.

tour should start in Montana; would be able to have a full day tour of Glacier National Park; tour director made sure we were able to see many outstanding places during our tour; we were extremely happy with Corey

I loved that we had structured time, but were still given time to explore on our own. We also had the opportunity to take short hikes or to sit on a bench and take in the views. I thought the itinerary supported many ages and ability types. There were people in their 80’s and my children in their 20’s. We all enjoyed the trip!

Travel Tips

  • Canada is a large, diverse country. A tour to Canada will teach you that the west coast and east coast of Canada have very different cultures, cuisines, and traditions. Make the most of your visit to the Great White North by hopping between provinces.
  • For a budget-friendly trip, enjoy the beautiful nature Canada has to offer. Many public trails can be hiked free-of-charge, and outdoor equipment for any sport or season can be rented inexpensively
  • Canadians are known around the world for their friendliness and hospitality. Most locals will be happy to help if you need directions or restaurant suggestions.
  • Each province has its own culinary specialty. Be sure to have a lobster dinner in Nova Scotia, poutine in Quebec, and sweet Nanaimo bars in British Columbia
  • English is spoken all across the country, but be sure to know your basic French greetings if visiting Montreal or Quebec City.

Canada has seasonal weather so please do check up on best time to visit Canada before planning your tour.
