Catania Tours and Trips

Our tour director, Giuseppe and driver Simone were the best. They went out of their way to make sure that we were all taken care of and enjoying our trip. Their knowledge of the places we visited was excellent and they made our trip a memorable one.

We have recently completed this tour and loved it. Luca was fabulous guide. Emilio a safe and thoughtful driver. Our accomodation was generally excellent, stops for lunch at winery, almond farm and buffalo farm were highlights. This was definitely a ‘ back roads ‘ experience and we are grateful to our guide and team behind him for making our holiday memorable. Will definitely be booking Back Toads again.

The Splenders Of Sicily was an excellent tour. We loved the fact that it was a Back Roads type of tour. There is so much to see in Sicily and this tour covered so much. We liked the small size of the tour group and the day to day pace. Our tour guide Lorianna was excellent. She went above and beyond to ensure that we saw so much. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the history and geography of Sicily was outstanding. We liked the innovative way Lori used the Whatsapp application to keep the group involved by sharing pictures and stories.

Enjoyed the tour very much. Travel in the vehicle was not too much, sites we saw were very interesting, great guides at the sites we visited. Hotels were nice, had an excellent guide and driver. The size of the tour was only 6 people, which was awesome. Sicily is a beautiful country and this was a great way to see and learn about it.

Great itinerary covering the highlights of Southern Italy and Sicily. You need to purchase the optional tours if you want to see everything. There does seem to be a lot of free time in the afternoons as you arrive at the hotel about 3ish and dinner isn't until 7pm.

You will see some many interesting and historic places. The guides give you so many facts about each site. The hotels and itinerary that the company has formulated packs the most into your trip. The smaller size of your tour group allows you to get a great experience while meeting new friends. Highly recommend!!!
