Costa Rica Tours and Trips

It was fun, interesting and I learned a lot. While it is marketed as an 8 day trip, Day 1 and day 8 are a meetup and drive to the airport respectively. Therefore it’s really a 6 day adventure, however it was a marvelous 6 days. Everything was flawless.

I have been so impressed with Explore and the Wildlife Tour of Costa Rica. We had some trouble initially getting out to Costa Rica, but spoke with a lovely lady called Yvonne. She was so helpful and reassuring and made my life so much easier. The trip itself was amazing! The country is stunning and they really pack in as much as possible into the two weeks. We saw so much Wildlife, more than I ever expected. Allan, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and had an expert eye for spotting the animals hiding in the Rainforest. He went out of his way to make the tour special and he was easily the best tour guide I've had on any holiday ever. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore Costa Rica and see it's extraordinary Wildlife. This has fulfilled a life long dream of mine and I'm so thankful for Explore and their remarkable tour. I would definitely consider travelling with you again, and hope to do so in the future!

A fabulous trip with a busy itinerary visiting 6 locations. Superb leader Diego and driver Cristian who looked after our group for 2 weeks in Costa Rica. They were full of enthusiasm and so knowledgeable, always ensuring everyone was having a fantastic holiday.

This trip was beyond anything I could have imagined from the amazing adventures - surfing, canyoning, zip lining, hanging bridges to the beautiful sights and people of Costa Rica. Contiki and our tour manager did an amazing job of planning very was so smooth and I loved the balance between rainforest and beach days. Our group was amazing we are already planning our reunion trip!!!

Best of the 4 contikis I have done. I found the group very intimate with a slightly smaller number than most of the European trips. There are quite alot of activities that keep you busy and serve as great opportunities to bond with your group Super adventurous and outdoors Good blend between forests and beaches. Accommodation In most places were absolutely amazing particularly in Tamarindo which felt like paradise. Some activities I felt required some degree of fitness. Although it is reportedly more expensive than other Latin American countries, it hadn't been as bad as expected It was a very balanced trip Very little travel time and thus spent most of the time at the destinations Great nights out Shout out to out Trip Manager *Personal details removed by Feefo* Who was absolutely fantastic and efficient. What an unforgettable trip. I can truly say what was 30 strangers are now some of the best friends I've ever met. The trip from top to bottom was sensational. To canyoneering, snorkeling, surfing, dancing and more, it was an unforgettable trip. If you are thinking of doing this trip I would say 110% do it. The only minor issues were most of our hotel rooms did not have AC so if you can sleep in 85F temps for a night or two and embrace the humidity then you should be fine. And some showers didn't have hot water. Another minor discrepancy is I wish the host, as amazing as he was, gave us a little bit more detail on what to wear/how to prepare for certain activities. What we all thought was "a hike" turned out to be a short walk down some stairs to a waterfall to swim in. Because of this, some of us were not prepared to swim but more so for a hike. I also wish he would have given us some more insight on how to approach or be around certain animals especially while in Manuel Antonio National Park. There was a monkey attack incident on our trip that could have been avoided I think if we had this information prior to entering.
