Italy Tours in January 2026

Italy is always a good idea, but this trip made it truly special! Everything was well-paced, the accommodations were top-notch, and we even had extra time for shopping and wine tastings!

The tour guide Eva was fantastic and I found Rene Guia both enthusiastic and caring. noting that he took extra care with our disabled tour members, he was quick to learn all our names and took an interest in each of us.he also went out of his way to arrange for us to see Moulin Rouge I found Patricia very difficult to understand and not helpful. It was difficult in Paris when half the bus tour members were in another hotel over an hour away from the other hotel, wasting the limited time that we had in the city. It was also sad and many of the people on the bus were upset as we didnt get to see the Eiffel tower at night.

Europamundo is highly recommended, we started in spain until rome and i would say everything was fanstastic, location of hotel are accessible to food areas, the guides were all accomodating and helpful, but i want to give special mention to javier our guide from paris to Switzerland, fantastic guide, made the tour more exciting and fun, his recomendations are superbs, his additional info are so helpful, when we were with a local guide in paris he would still try to signal by hand gestures the locations the local guide is explaining, making me understand more what the local guide was pointing out, his so passionate with his work, hopefully I could join his tour in the future, as for eva so energetic, cheerful and helpful, they even had a contest for us in pisa, to take photo and they will judge the best photo, so fun, I Love her, overall i would recommend europamundo to friends and family and will definetly be back, extending out thanks to all of you for making our 1st europe trip a memorable one. Peter did a great job of keeping us all on track and getting us where we needed to go. And boy did we go! Busy tour seeing as many sights as we could fit in - needless to say most days were filled with different activities and really kept us hopping. Jumping on trains, carrying luggage over cobblestones and up and down stairs, and walking tours of some of the most exciting cities in Europe. The hotels we stayed at were lovely and the optional excursions really added to the experience.

This was an amazing tour of Italy. Rome was fantastic, the walking tour and free time were perfect. The wine tasting and antipasto were enjoyable. I would go back to Italy with Expat.

I just got back from the 12 Day Christmas and New Year's EE tour (2023/2024) & being the 1st time I've been away from home for the holidays, I found it simply magical, everything I hoped for plus more.. This tour is fast paced with plenty of early morning departures and plenty of walking, but the trade off is that you get to experience as much as possible in each of the cities along the way. As a solo traveler, I never felt unsafe or alone and the camadarie of the group was instant. I also appreciate that this tour allows you the freedom to choose between various pre-set excursions in any given city and/or the option to go off and explore on your own and/or workout a hybrid of such with your tour leader. If you are on the fence about booking an Expat Explorer tour, I say do yourself a favor and just book it.
