My hiking holiday in the Dolomites from 20th to 27th June was absolutely fantastic. The scenery is awesome, the hotel clean with fabulous food. Best of all though was Tour Leader, Jasmine :-) As the weather was very hot with thunderstorms on some afternoons, Jasmine flexed the itinerary to better suit walking in the heat and to avoid rain. Brilliant holiday all round. If only British Airways were so accessible and helpful when it canceled my flight on 27th June, offering no support at all.

This week of hiking was both challenging, especially as the weather was very hot, even in the mountains, but also enormously rewarding. The Guide ensured that our group was well informed, and enabled us to get maximum value every day. The Dolomites is an astonishingly beautiful region, and having access through public transport was so helpful. We gained a real sense of the life of those who actually live there, as well as a superb tourist experience.

Amazing week with varied walks. Great guiding. An incredible part of the world. The weather was kind to us as the heat wave did not affect our program till the last walk which had to be changed as too hot and no protection on the planned track. It may become a problem in the future as the temperatures are higher. The hotel is designed for cooler climate and the bedrooms are very warm when the heat comes.
