G Adventures About Us Started by Bruce Poon Tip in the year 1990, G Adventures transformed from a young man’s vision into a global conglomerate in a very short amount of time. As an enthusiastic and passionate traveler, Bruce dreamt of sharing his travel experience with the world. Giving birth to G Adventures with nothing but personal credit cards, this one-man army soon emerged with over 2000 employees spread over 23 different offices all over the world. Now catering to more than 150000 travelers each year, G Adventures is truly one of the largest and most passionate tour operators out there. A Sense of Adventure Ever had that overpowering feeling of heading off to an adventure after watching movies like Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider? Adventure travel has a way of making you fall in love with the world, helping you discover yourself and learn unique skillsets as you explore the planet, meet new people and get your adrenaline pumping. G Adventures will help you do all that. Smaller Groups One of the biggest issues that most group travelers face is the group size. Most tour operators conduct tours in large groups which could spoil the entire experience. This is what makes G Adventures so different. We specialize in offering tours in smaller group sizes at some of the most exclusive places in the world, all at the best prices. A smaller group simply opens up your itinerary a little more, making it more accessible, proving security and companionship and offering enriching experiences with complete strangers. Travel Responsibly The world is a beautiful place to be in and traveling is probably the greatest gift that we can offer to ourselves and our loved ones. Enjoying a destination and becoming a part of its beautiful culture is a great thing to do, but it is equally important to ensure that you’re giving back to the community. From choosing local businesses and developing community based rural travel projects to offering disaster relief services and preventing animal abuse, G Adventures truly operates with the belief that travel is a medium of exchange, which means that they try and give back as much as possible to the local community. Quality Service As one of the most reputed travel operators on the planet, G Adventures is all about making your tours feel extra special. The company is a proud recipient of numerous awards, many of which highlight exactly how travel operators should be run. Some of the awards received by G Adventures include Baxter Travel Media Canada's Favourite Adventure Tour Operator, Readers Choice Best National Adventure Operator in Canada, Vacation.com Canada Specialty Tour Operator Partner of the Year and National Geographic Traveler's Tours of a Lifetime. So the next time you get one of those pangs, that lust for an adventure of a lifetime, all you have to do is choose your favorite destination, select your preferred G Adventures tour and dive into a world of mystery, excitement and endless fun. This was an excellent Safari. The Tour was as described for style and is not for the faint hearted. We observed all of the animals and birdlife you could wish for. This was a real adventure and both my Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The itinery could do with an update although in the grand scheme of things would not have made much difference.

Excellent opportunity to get a feel for Southern Africa, as well as see large numbers of animals in their natural element. Victoria Falls was worth the 50 USD entry price. This is NOT a luxury tour! It is camping and cooking meals by the side of the road.

My trip to the Azores was fantastic! We saw so much in a short period of time and enjoyed a variety of activities. Our leader, Vera, was outstanding. She was very organized, friendly, fun, and thoughtful. Vera helped create a cohesive and congenial group.

Wow ! what a week I have just had in Israel on the Biblical Trip. I travelled on my own and joined a group of 11 others who were all lovely and we soon become one big family. Out guide Hilick from Rent a Guide was brilliant, so informative on the history and politics of his country. On this trip I went to places I would not of gone to independently. Highly recommend this trip, now to decide where to next ! will definitely use bookmundi again, so glad you popped up on my google search.

First and foremost the success of this cycling holiday was down to the Leader LAM NGUYEN and his support , the back marker doubling up as mechanic and the bus support driver . We were without doubt in safe hands . We were kept fully informed as to what was happening during the day and the following day . Lam gave us written details each day in the format “Daily Ride Plans” This was so useful as there was a lot to take in , could refer to these when saving our ride on Strava and even now , a month after , I use when describing our holiday to friends. The hotels were all of a good and high standard The trip notes were very thorough giving lots of information The daily rides were planned well visiting many interesting places , giving us a good appreciation of the areas we were cycling and the distances cycled were good and achievable The bike that I had was good , just right for the roads we were travelling on ( I normally use a road bike but the mountain bike worked well) The stops during the ride were well thought out and worked well The snacks that were provided during the ride were excellent and plentiful During the rides Lam , the tour leader , stopped where necessary to give us more information at the right locations Also , importantly , many happy bushes were found !!! All in all a fantastic holiday in a fantastic Country

The trip was just long enough for us to get a taste of Europe- well organized and quality. The only problem we had, however was sorted, was that our first trip Manager was not as clued up and informative as the one that replaced him. He struggled to grab the attention of the group and didn't share information on where we were and what we were doing. However, when joined it was a whole different experience. She knew what she was doing and captured the entire groups attention. The hostels were clean and well situated- we were never more than a 2km walk from the city center. What a great way to spend Christmas.

The standard of accommodation was great throughout the trip. The standout hotel was in Hiroshima. It was spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. It’s a shame we didn’t have our larger luggage with us, as we couldn’t fully make use of the space. The final hotel in Tokyo, however, was quite far out, and the room was uncomfortably hot. Although the hotel provided a fan, it only helped slightly and made the stay less comfortable than expected. The robot experience at Dawn Café was fascinating and memorable, but it was scheduled too close to breakfast. I was still very full and couldn’t fully appreciate what was otherwise an amazing and thoughtfully prepared meal. Christmas Day felt like a missed opportunity. Experiencing KFC for Christmas dinner, as it’s traditionally celebrated in Japan, would have been a fun and culturally immersive option. It also would have been nice for this day to focus more on spending time together as a group, as many travellers are Western and value shared experiences on occasions like Christmas. The optional karaoke add-on was quite expensive on this day, which made it feel less accessible. My absolute favourite experience was dressing up in a kimono in Kyoto. A truly unforgettable and beautifully immersive cultural experience. Our TM, was incredible: approachable, hilarious, and a real highlight of the trip. Her knowledge of each city was exceptional, and she brought every destination to life with stories, cultural context, and local insight. She struck a perfect balance between being informative and fun, ensured everyone felt included and supported, and handled logistics seamlessly. Her passion for Japan was infectious and truly elevated the overall experience. Overall, this was a well-organised and enriching trip with many memorable moments!

This trek was incredible! Sanjay and the team did an amazing job of safely getting the group to Everest base camp and a couple of us to the top of Kala Patthar. I would highly recommend using World Expeditions for lots of reasons but 3 big ones are: 1) They cook all the food - this ensured that is was tasty and safe and no one in our group got sick, 2) mostly staying in their own campsites - the tents were really cosy and 3) the people - from the guides to the porters - were all amazing and local.

Our guide Anthea was excellent. After a driving tour through the downtown sites and a stop at the park near Parliament, we went to Table Mountain where the clouds had cleared and views we beautiful. The Groot Constantia winery lunch & wine tasting were fantastic, and our walking tour through Kirstenbosch Garden & the Tree Canopy memorable.

Great trip, I would thoroughly recommend. The leader Doan and his team were the best. We were a group of 7 like minded cyclists, lots of laughs and really great rides, through villages and scenic mountain roads. All the hotels were perfect. I feel privileged to have visited this wonderful and diverse country.

My husband and I joined a group of 14 for the Simply Japan tour in November and enjoyed a really fabulous memorable trip. We were very lucky with mostly sunny dry weather for the entire trip allowing us to enjoy the autumn colours. Our group got on well. We were guided by an outstanding multilingual guide, Raya, who was passionate and knowledgeable about Japan, particularly Japanese history and customs. The itinerary was a great introduction to the country, a full on whistlestop tour, so expect lots of daily walking through stations, markets and shrines and temples. Nice contrast between modern and traditional Japan. All accommodation was of a good standard. Recommend to top or tail the trip with a longer city stay to see more of Tokyo/Kyoto or Osaka (we had 3 extra nights in Tokyo at the beginning) as the real highlights of the tour are the bits in between - the magnificent Matsumoto Castle, stunning Zenkoji Temple in Nagano and the beautiful Miyaijma Island were my favourites, and the Shinkansen trains of course. The Hiroshima memorial museum was unpleasantly crammed full of people and school kids, too busy to appreciate the significance, although the peace park surrounding it was worth visiting and right next to our hotel. The Explore guide Raya helped to make the trip for us - so motivating and caring, and keen to navigate to help everyone enjoy this varied tour even on the free days.
