The Ultimate Italy trip provided a well-rounded trip to Italy's key cities and sights ... we wanted to stay longer in most places since everything was wonderful. Our tour director, Daniele Nannetti, was superb. He made travel the "seamless experience" I have only heard about prior to this trip. Every detail was perfectly executed. He was a pleasure to know, from our first dinner to the last good-bye in Venice. He made the trip special. Our specific guides to the Vatican Museum, Pompei, Capri, St Francis of Assisi basilica, and Doge's Palace were knowledgeable and personable, and provided so much information that my head is still spinning.

Insight Tours and our Tour Director, Jackie, really took care of everything, giving us a wonderful, authentic feel for Italy’s culture. The hotels were comfortable and welcoming, the food was absolutely outstanding, and the historical knowledge shared throughout the trip added so much depth and appreciation to everything we saw. We got to see so much in our two weeks, from the historical stops in Rome to the isle of Capri, balsamic vinegar facility, parmigiana cheese facility, winery and the waterways of Venice. The Optional Dinner Excursions were amazing, each providing a different menu and plenty of good wine.

It was as advertised - fast paced , with lots of walking …. We were prepared for it , but marveled at those with difficulties and using canes who were in our group and seemed to have no idea regarding walking
