Siena Tours and Trips

Great guide, great walks, and great cultural tours. Also, the hotel was very nice and the hotel restaurant was excellent. It was an excellent tour. The guide (Tomaso) was excellent and very knowledgeable about history, architecture, horticulture, agriculture, wine making, olive oil making, and more. The walks were also very well thought out and the cultural days in Siena and Florence were excellent.

This tour was an amazing way to experience the heart of Tuscany. The itinerary was perfectly balanced with cultural visits, delicious food and wine experiences, and plenty of free time to explore or relax. Some highlights for me were the guided tour of Siena, where we tasted incredible pastries made from unique local recipes, the pasta-making class in Chianti with a warm and welcoming family, and the wine tastings at beautiful family-run estates where we learned so much about what we were enjoying. Our day in Florence was equally wonderful. The hotel in Pancole was cozy and inviting and all the family and staff were so welcoming, and our tour leader made everything smooth and enjoyable. A fantastic trip filled with unforgettable memories!

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. It was a great blend of walking through the beautiful Tuscan countryside, tasting organic wines, sampling delicious local foods, and getting a bit of Renaissance and medieval history with visits to Sienna, Florence, and San Girmignano.

Having worked with them on a trip in Northern Italy last year, I was confident they would deliver a great experience. They did. From the quality of the hotels, included meals, the navigation app used down to the distances covered each day, everything was well thought out and first rate. Along the way I met other walkers who’d used other companies. Every single one had a complaint about the company they used. I had no complaints and recommended them repeatedly along the route. I’m already making arrangements for an Italian walk next year with this company.

Thank you so much for an amazing trip! We absolutely loved walking the Via Francigena (I would have carried on further if I could) and I'm recommending it to everyone I know. The stages were just challenging enough to give us a real sense of achievement at the end of the day, the hotels were all excellent and each evening gave us a new destination to explore. Everything was beautifully organised - hotel bookings, luggage transfer and route instructions - which meant we could concentrate on enjoying the spectacular scenery and delicious food.

These trips never disappoint and this was no exception. Walking through the beautiful Tuscany countryside and staying in amazing hotels in hill top towns this was definitely a trip to remember.
