Italy Cruise Tours

The Ultimate Italy trip provided a well-rounded trip to Italy's key cities and sights ... we wanted to stay longer in most places since everything was wonderful. Our tour director, Daniele Nannetti, was superb. He made travel the "seamless experience" I have only heard about prior to this trip. Every detail was perfectly executed. He was a pleasure to know, from our first dinner to the last good-bye in Venice. He made the trip special. Our specific guides to the Vatican Museum, Pompei, Capri, St Francis of Assisi basilica, and Doge's Palace were knowledgeable and personable, and provided so much information that my head is still spinning.

It was a more relaxed itinerary with 3 nights in each city, which I thought was great. I was able to schedule a 1 hour visit at St Mark’s Basilica in Venice during free time on the second to the last day, you just have to buy tickets in advance. It makes sense to do it then because you are already in the area. I normally do Globus Tours but after this tour, I think I may do more with Trafalgar. It was a very good experience, with lots of delicious food and drinks.

Itinerary pace was quick as expected however the time and experiences we had at each stop was meaningful. Hotels exceeded my expectations with this itinerary and the coach was a comfortable ride between countries.

Plenty of opportunities to see the areas visited. The add on charges for excursions were more than I was expecting. The excursions with meal options were excellent. Travel guide was very knowledgeable of the area.

Marko was an incredibly knowledgable tour Manager with the kindest spirit He made the trip enjoyable and informative. Venice, Slovenia and Zadar was my favorite cities. Loved the National park beauty! Great trip
