While it is widely known as the birthplace of renaissance art, Florence was also incredibly important for European politics and economy during the same period. Moreover, the development of Florentine renaissance and neoclassical architecture changed the faces of all major European cities. Florence isn’t just the birthplace of renaissance art. It is in fact the birthplace of modern European culture.

The Via Degli Dei is a fantastic walk - 2 great Italian cities and stunning landscapes every day which made the tough climbs worthwhile. They dealt with everything once we arrived, the accommodation was good and varied which added to the appeal of the trip. It's helpful to have some basic Italian as a couple of places did not speak English but everyone was so friendly. Will use them again - we are already planning next year's trip!

Excellent

I had a wonderful time on the Italian Discovery tour with Eskapas. The itinerary was well-thought-out, covering all the must-see locations. Giulia, our guide, was excellent, providing insightful commentary and always willing to answer questions. The hotels were comfortable, especially in Rome. Thanks to the entire team for an amazing trip!

Excellent

We enjoyed the Italian Discovery tour, which was well-organized and covered many iconic sites. Florence’s art museums and the gondola ride in Venice were personal highlights. The tour was quite fast-paced, which was both exciting and a bit tiring at times. The overall experience was great, and we felt we saw a lot of Italy in just ten days. Thanks to Eskapas for a memorable trip!

The entire experience was terrific ... the itinerary was well-paced and exciting, Tuscany is beautiful and the food was awesome, and best of all our guide AJ was the "star of the show" who made the trip really educational and memorable.

Wonderful experience although we kn ew Tuscany well we saw things in a completely new light. Beatrice our guide was exceptional especially when a strike disrupted the plans of some of our group; she made sure that alternate arrangements were made. Cannot speak more highly of Beatrice and driver Romulus would recommend to anyone
