Honest insights from past guests on our Germany tours

It was the Best trip of my life! Every day we had new and exciting excursions. We he local guides as well as our tour manager Daniel Boghen were exceptional! I learned so many interesting things about history. I was fascinated with the history!

Had an absolutely fabulous time. Austria was so beautiful, it was hard to take it all in. My friends and I had so much fun walking through the Christmas Markets in Innsbruck and sampling the delicious gluhwein and other hot drinks offered. We saw Krampus on more than one occasion - very exciting! I loved that we stayed in the same hotel for five nights. Not having to have our luggage out every other day at 7 AM made for an easier adjustment to the time change. Our hotel was very comfortable and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning. I couldn’t recommend this trip more.

The towns we stopped in were great. The Christmas markets were fabulous and did not disappoint. We walked a lot and I was a little concerned having had both knees replaced in the last year, but it was great. I had no problems. The tour guide was great, very knowledgeable. Our local guides were great, very knowledgeable and you could tell they loved their country. The staff on the boat was so accommodating and the food was very good. I would definitely recommend this trip.

I especially loved the hands on cooking class and pretzel making class. I believe the Christmas markets added a special plus to this tour. All the cities visited were alive with lights and activity.

Ben Slavin, our tour manager, was amazing! He added so much to what was already memorable by sharing histories of the areas in which we traveled, playing local Christmas music for us, and generally preparing us for everything we saw and did. The markets were fun, though to me, more memorable were the decorations each city/town we visited displayed. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!

This tour was the perfect balance of scheduled group activities and free time. The ability to visit six cities in the span of seven days, without the worry of driving, parking, or hotel reservations was incredible. Our tour manager was the best and his special touches made our trip one that we won't soon forget. Highly recommended!
