Italy Countryside village visits Trips

Well organized trip with a variety of sites. From sea to mountains. Having 2 nights in most cities works well, better than moving every day. There is lots of walking but that helps to work off the good food and wine.

Loved the scheduled time to free time ratio. Loved the planned activities. Loved our guide. She answered every question and was very happy to help with anything requested and had a number of nice surprises for us. Really appreciated the comfortable bus. Thought the group size was good. Really liked being in each place for the time we had. Overall a very good experience.

The itinerary on the trip was good. We saw a lot. It is just a ton of travel and walking that you should be prepared for this is not an easy-going tour. It is quick pace. You see everything in the city and then you move onto the next location, hotels aren’t up to I would say most standards, but they just differ from the United States quite a bit. The coach was always clean and it was up-to-date and New Raphael did a good job of keeping it clean.

Hits a lot of highlights for anyone visiting Italy for the first time. We felt that there were too many “optional” itinerary items at additional cost. Overall a nice balance of planned itinerary and free time availability.

This tour is by far the most beautiful travel experience we’ve had! From beginning to end we were delighted with the rich culture, history, beautiful landscapes, superb food, and lovely accommodations in Umbria and Tuscany. Our tour guide, Ben, was absolute perfection. He guided us seamlessly through so many beautiful places, enriching the experience with delightful stories along the way. Our favorite experience was interacting with the locals at the truffle and olive oil farms, and the family who invited us into their home and regaled us with piano playing by their son. All of the towns we visited were so quaint, and the churches were incredible. The local tour guides provided terrific insight. The memories of this tour will last a lifetime. I could not recommend it enough!!
