Vietnam has a complex history that shapes much of its modern life. We recommend visiting the cultural religious and historic sites of Ho Chi Minh City, including a tour of the Củ Chi tunnels leftover from the Vietnam War. Head North for a boat cruise on Ha Long Bay, or visit the capital city of Hanoi to discover its temples, museums and delicious street food.

The trip was really amazing! The accommodations throughout the trip were clean and cosy. The itinerary throughout was well arranged. It would have been nice to have some extra time in Nha Trang. The adds on were also fun. I enjoyed the cooking class.

This trip was amazing! The tour guide, was amazing and so passionate about what she was telling us! The local tour guides were so good at telling us what we were seeing and the importance of it, as well as answering any questions we had. There was a perfect balance between free time and activities, and for the price, the extra add on activities were amazing! I highly reccomend!

Cambodia

A unexpected but welcome eye opener to untaught histories and wonders of the Asia continent! The sights were a breath of fresh air from Europe standards and the kind spirited everyday Cambodian people was a warm addition to our travels.

Review of Cambodia tour (Tour Guide: Hul)

The Cambodia tour was incredible from start to finish. Finishing on the party island with a few beers and a beach festival was the perfect way to end the trip! Our favourite part was meeting all the locals (Hul's friends and family) as well as experiencing how they live. I can’t recommend this tour enough, an unforgettable experience in an amazing country

This was a trip of a lifetime! Our trip manger always went above and beyond for our group and ensured everything ran smoothly. There was a great mix of culture, history, fun and great food! The people on this trip made it even more special. Despite many days in temple wear with the heat, this will be a trip hard to match. The jungle rafts in Thailand and slow boat in Laos were definitely a highlight.

When packing for a Vietnam trip, include lightweight, breathable clothing for tropical climate, along with a light jacket for cooler highland regions. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, bug repellent, and a hat are essential for outdoor activities. Don’t forget a rain jacket or umbrella for unexpected showers and adapters for electronics. Bring medications and basic toiletries as well.

Sustainable travel practices when visiting Vietnam

To travel responsibly in Vietnam, start by carbon-offsetting your flight with Vietnam Airlines. If you’ve booked your tour through Bookmundi, your entire trip within Vietnam will be carbon-offset from start to finish, reducing your environmental impact. While exploring, be mindful of Vietnam’s widespread use of single-use plastics, especially in its famous street food culture. To minimize waste, bring your own reusable containers and utensils when enjoying local street food. Additionally, instead of buying bottled water, carry a refillable water bottle that you can easily top up at your accommodation or filtered water stations. These simple practices not only help reduce plastic pollution but also support Vietnam’s broader environmental efforts. Traveling sustainably means making conscious choices that protect the country’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
