Spain Tours in November 2026

The itinerary provided an opportunity to experience every major city in Spain. The local specialists were well-versed in the history of every city and cathedrals visited. Our tour director also provided a wealth of knowledge about local customs and gave a look into the lives of the Spanish culture.

Fantastic tour guide Mercedes - very friendly, helpful and caring with a wealth of knowledge and passion for her country. No early morning starts. Usually headed off around 9am after breakfast. Not too fast a pace. Accommodation was good with the exception of Madrid. Great location but basic rooms and no where to meet for a drink. Commencement of tour and welcome was in the breakfast room.

The tour was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Our tour manager, Maria Jo, was amazing. Her knowledge and personal experiences were fantastic. The processions at Fatima were very moving and were some of my most memorable experiences. Mont Serrat is a must in Barcelona. I’m so glad I opted for the excursion. I would highly recommend this tour

Good value for the price. We saw some amazing places we would have not gone to by ourselves. Our tour leader Mercedes was amazing, and she made our trip so special. Her knowledge of the history of the places where we went was first class. She made sure we were all comfortable in our surroundings all the time and made our tour a fun time. Our favourite stop was in Estremoz as we stayed in the castle. All 14 of the group walked around in awe at the beauty of it. A lovely end to our tour. We will remember our tour from Madrid to Lisbon with very fond memories. Thank you Iberian Inspiration

It was enjoyable trip, covering different parts of the island. There was time on some days for a paddle or swim, and always a cafe at the end of the walk!! The transport was excellent and always prompt. There was a pool at the hotel, so odd times early return to hotel allowed for a dip. The kitchen arrangement in each bedroom with a fridge made it convenient for making hot drinks and lunches. The leader was excellent and very aware of each person when on rough terrain.

I really enjoyed this area and all the walks we did, and the day off on the coast. Overall a very positive and friendly experience for my first group holiday on my own for 25years. The walks we did were essentially all in a semi-circle area around a valley, though each day had a slightly different character and feel to me. All were either started from the pension or a short drive away. We saw some goats and buzzards, though overall less wildlife than I am used to. All the paths were relatively quiet compared to many English popular areas, which I enjoyed. There was a drive down to a stream through narrow town streets that was fun and a chance to buy local olive oil (which did survive the flight back). I enjoyed getting up to see each pretty sunrise. Both towns we visited either side of Benidorm on our day off I also surprised myself by enjoying and are worth visiting.
