Spain Cultural Tours

This tour was great!! Our guide, Helder Almeida, is one of the best!! I would have liked another day in Valencia and one extra in Madrid. (So much to see!)

A very well thought out itinerary which made the most of our time on tour. We saw all the things you could hope to see during our trip. Highly recommend this itinerary. Would suggest having x2 nights in Valencia.

A very well organised itinerary covering many places in Spain in particular. However, there were many excellent optional experiences which should have been included in the itinerary. We chose to do them all but with a lot of added cost to the trip.

The trip itinerary was often little misleading in its points of interest. Many of which required extra cost to enjoy the excursion. Our Guide , jerry and our bus driver were excellent people.. all of the hotels we stayed at were excellent and quite comfortable. Because of the long distances traveled on the bus. Often , what the itinerary showed is two days in the location turned out to be just part of the day as we arrived late in the afternoon. And then the next day. Several in the group found the amount of walking excessive and missed out on seeing some highlights. Every day was at least two or three miles miles and some days as much as six miles. My husband and I thought the trip was absolutely beautiful and we're glad we did it.

Full days of activity. Our guide was very well prepared each day and knowledgeable of all of our destinations. Longer stays in some cities would have been preferable. The transportation was excellent. The hotels overall were good.

I booked this trip very last minute with less than a week before the departure date and Explore were as always great in sorting out my flights and the arrangements. This trip was a great mix of cities and walking in the lovely countryside through some idyllic little villages. The cities were all different and absolutely beautiful and all the hotels so well situated for walking to all main sights. Craig our tour guide did an excellent job of making sure everything was well organised and thus the arrangements all ran like clockwork. Craig went the extra mile in showing us things that were not on the itinerary and really made the trip so enjoyable. He gave us a wealth of information on the history, culture and also the ways of life in the area where his house is. His passion and great humour made it so much more interesting. I especially loved all the little Spanish villages we visited on the walking days and eating delicious food with the locals in the village restaurants. All in all a really great trip once again from Explore 👍
