Just the most wonderful stay in Stores. The generosity and kindness of the host and his family were a highlight and the walking and scenery surpassed my expectations. Truly breathtaking.

It is very packed and busy. I would recommend choosing excursions carefully to allow for a little bit of downtime. Time to relax at the pool or share a quiet dinner. Time to shop where you can try things on and make selections of special items. Perhaps a morning with a late start and a morning stroll. It is difficult to make these choices so early in the trip. I understand that tickets need to be purchased etc. that is fabulous! Just a little stretch of personal time perhaps twice in 15 days I would recommend. Would enjoy more 2 night stays and perhaps a 3 night somewhere special.

This was a beautifully curated itinerary that provided a perfect balance of iconic highlights, cultural experiences, and free time to explore independently. The accommodations were well located, transportation arrangements were seamless, and the pace allowed us to truly enjoy each destination without feeling rushed. The combination of vibrant cities, historic landmarks, local cuisine, and scenic countryside made the journey through Spain and Portugal unforgettable. Highlights included the rich culture of Madrid, the architecture and atmosphere of Barcelona, the charm of Seville, and the stunning landscapes and hospitality throughout Portugal. The attention to detail and organization gave us confidence throughout the trip, while still allowing flexibility for personal discoveries. We would highly recommend this itinerary to anyone looking for a stylish, well-planned, and memorable experience in Spain and Portugal.

This itinerary was the complete package. I was extremely well structured from the first to the last mile. It didn't take long before we blended from a group of international strangers to a gathering of friends let by a most wonderful Tour Director in Denise Lamas. She brought us all together with great stories, cultural insights, and humor. I have already recommended this journey to my friends.

An excellent tour in the Picos de Europa that exceeded my expectations. The six organised walks allowed the group to discover the amazing Picos and experience the variety of terrain. The walks were not easy, but shouldn't trouble fit walkers who are accustomed to walking all day. Our local guide Juan had excellent communication skills and shared his passion for the Asturias region. At the end of each day the group was served a fantastic 3 course meal in the hotel. The preparation of the food and table service was excellent and exceeded what I expected from a relatively small and modest family hotel. I'd highly recommend this walking tour.

I found the itinerary for our Best of Spain and Portugal Tour with Patrick Davis to be exceptional! I appreciated the balance of visiting cities and traditional tourist sites integrated with expieriences in small towns and with family businesses like the olive oil company in Alfartanejo and port producers at the Cava Wine House. I loved having dinner in a family home in Alfartanejo, and I so appreciated the information from local guides like Sergio at the Prado, Lidon in Valencia, and Amada in Barcelona. Patrick Davis was an incredible guide. He explained well the historical significance of the sites, the cities, and the small communities we were visiting, and he did so with stories and slide presentations that made the facts and the cultures we were experiencing come alive. He and our driver, Louis, worked as a team, and they cared for our group so well! Patrick paid attention to details like necessary accommodations and dietary preferences for each of us. He also cultivated a positive and trusting group dynamic. My tour with Insight was deeply enriched by his expertise as a tour guide and leader, and I will travel with Insight again, I'm sure, because of his level of care for the group and the quality of learning I experienced, along with fantastic accommodations and culinary experinces. I could go on, but I think I've made my point that this tour was a magificent experience, and I believe it was enhanced significantly by the quality and character of our tour leader and the local guides that we experienced.
