Spain Tours in December 2025

This tour was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it. The pace was perfect for me! Several nights in Costa del Sol and two nights in Madrid. Perfect! The tour manager Carmen was kind, thoughtful, fun, informative and entertaining! Some highlights of the tour were the home hosted dinner, where we met local woman Esperanza- and she cooked for us a veritable feast of traditional Spanish food. It was a meal I’ll never forget. I also enjoyed the Flamenco lesson! I went on this tour in December, and Spain was bustling with beautiful Christmas markets, and the streets were filled with decorative lights and festive music! This was my 6th Collette tour and they just are getting better and better!!!

Overall trip was very satisfactory but there are too many different groups in and out during the tour that sometimes became a bit confusing and due to different hotels stay among the group, the tour journey became longer due to having to drop different groups each time. Despite this, the tour was interesting and enjoyable

Over all trip was good will travel again with you except the hotels were not up to our standard as this booking was taken care by my wife Lineth Fernandes. Also Too much to cover up in short span of time very hectic long drive especially from Milan to ROME. ROME too much too cover in one day

The Hotel on La Gomera was excellent and our guide Ester was brilliant. Flawless organisation, short comfortable mini-bus trips and well chosen walks. Some sections of the hikes were a bit challenging in the wet but Ester was always there to lend help and encouragement. The last night hotel wasn’t great but it was only for a few hours and close to the airport.

A really pleasant trip. Lovely warm weather for November and a good selection of walks with a mix of scenery to enjoy. Aguimes is a lovely village to stay in and the hotel had its own charm and was clearly well cared for by the staff. The hotel in Aldea had more facilities but was a bit more commercial. Our guide was very good, with local knowledge and took us out for some nice local food and lots of Tapas. The driver that took us across the island was excellent as the roads were very windy. Overall, an excellent trip which I would be happy to recommend.

Our guide Adrian was excellent, the accomodation was good and the central location meant the transfers to the varied and very scenic walks around the island were never too long. For a first walking holiday, I would say that some parts of the walks were more challenging and technical than I was expecting from the general description, but an enjoyable holiday.
