Madrid Tours and Trips
Many expect a holiday in Madrid to be a soberer affair than its easy-going competitor Barcelona. However, Madrid is a low-key party place with late dinners and lively bars keeping locals and visitors up until the early hours. Set against a beautifully preserved historical backdrop, Madrid knows how to appreciate the finer things in life.

The Spanish Wonder tour is a great itinerary and overall introduction to Spain. The added excursions are worth the price of the experience and the tour director made our trip one of the most memorable. We look forward to using Trafalgar in the future.
I wish it was longer, I've done it in Christmas and new year and it was so good since the local people were partying too with us. I wish I've done the other leg of trip too before to see the full Spain.
The itinerary was excellent but a bit hectic. We visited a lot of UNESCO sites that we wanted. The tour director and the driver were excellent. The tour was extremely organised with no hiccups whatsoever. The local guides were all professional and knowledgeable. The hotels and included meals were hit and miss though. Some meals were very good but not all and some hotels seemed pretty basic with no kettle and bottle water provided. Otherwise, the sightseeing part and the people part were great and enjoyable. Would recommend.
The tour, the tour manager, the accommodations were all great! I just wish that it had lasted longer. This was our 6th time to travel with Collette, and we were very pleased.
The itinerary is very detailed for someone looking to explore the various historically significant buildings or places. The planning and execution of certain thing one may take for granted such as baggage handling ng, hotel check in etc are very well coordinated.
We attended a flamenco demonstration at a dance studio - It was simply fabulous to be up close to see and understand the movements in the dance. Then we got to try it our largely left-footed selves! And while we may have been far from graceful, it was certainly alot of fun.
