The locations visited were appropriate.The touring was good. The dining was excellent except for the last dinner in Madrid, that was just ok; we were late for dinner, which may have accounted, for the slow, inconsistent service. The delay occured because many of us couldn't get out of the stairwell in the last hotel in Madrid, where only 2 of the 3 elevators were working very slowly, missing floors. The hotels except for the last one in Madrid, were quite good. The Tour director Meaghan was superlative and driver was very good.
We were not aware when we purchased the tour that it was actually 2 tours in one. It would be helpful to let customers know this before hand. I actually found out about a week before departure from a comment forum. There was some confusion in regard to how we were going to join the second part of the tour in Madrid. It was arranged last minute between the 2 tour directors and did work out thanks to them. It would be nice if Ronda and Malaga could be added to the tour. It would have been nice to have one stop on the Costa Del Sol.
Great tour director who gave us a daily briefing and historical facts on what we were seeing and experiencing. Driver was a great driver and the bus was comfortable. The special guides at various locations were friendly and very informative.
Exceptional tour guide and bus driver. Loved that they rotated our seats in the bus every day so we got to know other people and got different views as we rode along. Gave us plenty of bathroom, breaks and time to eat. Showed us all the highlights of the main places in Spain, and there was added little extras like tasting certain treats from the area that we were visiting that was provided by the tour guide.. it was an amazing trip and well worth doing to see all the highlights of Spain
The itinerary was excellent. Love the subject matter and cities visited. The Travel Director Helger was absolutely excellent.......he made the trip as worthwhile as possible. He deserves a lot of credit by organizing us and keeping the bus rides and more interesting at all times.
Well organised tour with an excellent guide. Hotels ranged from ok to excellent but all in good locations. Visits to the Salvador Dali museum and the greek/roman archeological site en route were highlights.
