This is as fast paced tour where you are going to cover a lot of ground but you will get to see a lot of beautiful and stunning places throughout of both Spain and Portugal. A very comfortable coach, good drivers and how could words describe our tour guide, Marysol. What a joy. She is funny, kind, knowledgeable without overdoing it, approachable, a fantastic person who put so much into making this holiday enjoyable and successful for each and every one of us. A big thank you to the beautiful and lovable Marysol ?. The hotels in general were Ok as were most of the breakfasts that they provided. Included meals were in general good but the included meal in Lisbon while in a lovely restaurant with nice staff, I thought that the meal wasn't great. I appreciated the effort in providing a gluten free diet for me throughout the holiday. Very interesting, varied and covered many highlights. However we consider some of the optionals (not involving dinners) should be included eg. the drive to overlook the beach at San Sebastion.

The venues visited were great. Much history in Spain and different than other western Europe countries. Trafalgar puts together a wonderful staff to keep you busy and enjoy many extra curricumal activity besides just sites to see.

The itinerary for the Best of Spain adventure is fantastic! With opportunities to see amazing cities, both large and small, taste delicious food, and meet amazing people, you shouldn’t miss this tour that Trafalgar offers!

Fantastic week of cycling in a beautiful part of Spain. Exactly as described, we covered about 28 miles a day with about 40 on the final day, cycling through fields of wild poppies and flowers, traditional villages, almond trees, olive groves, hills (some pretty big) and some stunning views. Some climbs were steep and tough, and some cycling was on gravel tracks which some people found challenging. If you're not a regular cyclist, or mid-level fitness, an e-bike may be the best option - you can still cycle most of the way and use the extra power when you need it. Our guide, Miguel Angel, was perfect - patient, gentle, generous with his time. He looked after us exceptionally well and went the extra mile on numerous occasions, without fuss. He genuinely wanted to make sure we all had the best time possible - and we did. His knowledge of the area and route was comprehensive (he's a Murcia local), as was his knowledge of bikes - we had one puncture which he fixed in a flash, and we were on our way again. He really made a difference to the success of the trip. The accommodation was good but basic in some places - no problem though. The food and drinks in the evenings were all excellent, especially the last night when Miguel took us to an authentic, busy local restaurant in Murcia where he ordered an array of wonderful dishes for us all - definitely a highlight. A wonderful experience in a beautiful part of Spain.
