A great introduction to Andalucia. Craig planned and led an amazing trip. Everything was well organised. The hotels were ideally located in Granada, Córdoba and Seville, but the highlight was our stay in Castaño del Robledo. I'd happily stay in any of them again. The tour was, as advertised, full on and I was pleased that we saw a lot in just 7 days. Craig told us so much about Andalucia and I really enjoyed this. So many highlights: amazing architecture, great food, walking in the hills around Castaño del Robledo, ideal trip companions and a superb trip leader.
Fabulous holiday. Full on, plenty of walking everyday. Lots to see and some real ‘wow’ moments. Perfect combo of cities and countryside. Great guide, Craig is very knowledgeable and a really nice guy. His guest house and partner Sasha are lovely, a welcome break from city life. Hotels are all 1 star, but so well located in the city that everything is walkable, apart from sleeping and breakfast, really didn’t spend much time in them. Would thoroughly recommend this trip 😍👍🏻
The tour was a fantastic way to see Andalucia in a limited timespan. I had a great group and guide. Craig gave excellent tours in each city and was full of knowledge about Spain. I enjoyed having free time most days too.
This trip hits the main sites of Andalucia in a week, so it's pretty hectic. There's some spare time for extras, so it's worth doing some research before going, and beware unofficial sites at the top of Google's list. The accommodation isn't 4*, but it's adequate. Guide Craig's knowledge is encyclopaedic. Andalucia can be very hot, but it wasn't in March - take some warm clothes and water proofs! Optional extra Gruta de las Marvillas is not to be missed.
This was a really great trip that had been really well planned to allow us to see the major sites of the cities we visited and to have experience of staying and walking in rural Andalucia. I loved the contrast. Our tour guide could tell us in detail about the history and background of the places we could visit as well as being very knowledgable about the rural environment. I learned a lot while having a brilliant holiday.
My recent Highlights of Andalucia trip in November 2025 was outstanding. Superb leader, excellent itinerary, good pace, and amazing travellers on this particular trip. Thanks to Craig, our fearless leader, for making this trip one to remember.
