Great blend of the "Big" stuff and the smaller curated, cultural experiences. While I've been to Europe many times before, I've never been to Spain or Portugal, and I probably will not have occasion to go again. This tour was a broad sampling of the sights, sounds and tastes of Iberia.

Here's a review you could post: The Explore Walking and Wine in Spain & Portugal holiday was an excellent trip and one of the most varied tours I've ever experienced. The itinerary combined beautiful walks, fascinating towns and cities, wonderful scenery, and plenty of opportunities to experience local food and wine. What really made the holiday special were all the extra experiences included by our tour leader. The tapas crawl was a particular highlight, giving us the chance to sample authentic local dishes in places we would never have found on our own. The sangria tasting was great fun and added another dimension to understanding the local culture and traditions. Our leader was also fantastic at helping us discover excellent restaurants offering superb food at very reasonable prices, which made the trip even better value. There was a perfect balance between organised activities and free time to explore independently. The walks were enjoyable and varied, the wine experiences were authentic rather than touristy, and every day brought something different. I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone who enjoys combining gentle walking, great food and wine, cultural experiences, and the chance to discover both Spain and Portugal in depth.

So fabulous, so much to see and do. Really gave us an indepth insight into the Iberian Peninsula. So immersive in food, culture and history. The trip to Monsersat outside of Barcelona was the highlight of a litany of highlights.

Made good use of the time with a wide range of locations and experiences. Learned a lot about Spanish and Portuguese history and culture. Although it was only 3 days in Portugal, it gave a taste of the region which inspires a return trip! Including Gibraltor in the tour was a very interesting day, plus we got a glimpse of the coast of Africa. Having a free afternoon during the stay at Costa del Sol was like having a bonus holiday - enjoyed some relaxing time on the beach. Good mix of organised and free time meals; built an understanding of the food culture so we could find restaurants that excelled in local cuisine. Very knowledgeable and engaging tour director made the whole trip an experience to remember

It is very packed and busy. I would recommend choosing excursions carefully to allow for a little bit of downtime. Time to relax at the pool or share a quiet dinner. Time to shop where you can try things on and make selections of special items. Perhaps a morning with a late start and a morning stroll. It is difficult to make these choices so early in the trip. I understand that tickets need to be purchased etc. that is fabulous! Just a little stretch of personal time perhaps twice in 15 days I would recommend. Would enjoy more 2 night stays and perhaps a 3 night somewhere special.

Beautifully planned and executed from beginning to end. Hotels more than just accommodating; we wanted for nothing. Tour director excellent in knowledge and professionalism—enthusiasm made each day warm and inviting. Local experts carefully selected. Coach driver provided comfort and spotless conditions. I already look forward to my next tour, wherever and whenever that may be. Thank you.
