Spain Tours in February 2026

Gomera is a picturesque island for walkers and trekkers with challenging terrain. The island has an authentic Spanish vibe. The Torre del Conde hotel selected by Explore is in a perfect location. Rooms are updated and the breakfast has a variety of choices. The Explore guide, Ester, is an exceptional guide in terms of expertise and in keeping the group together with her warmth and sense of fun. Made the trip very enjoyable.

Once again I was lucky enough to have an outstanding tour leader in David. Especially lucky as he was also the leader for the Gran Canaria trip that I did the previous week! The landscape on La Gomera is less dramatic than Gran Canaria but the walks were excellent. One of the highlights was the Laurisilva cloud forest - complete with plenty of clouds (and rain!) but still a lovely walk. Another highlight was the optional walk to Valle Gran Rey with great views to the coast followed by a scenic ferry journey back to San Sebastian. Also the short but stunning walk on the El Teide plateau in Tenerife. The group of 16 was great company on the walks and at dinner in the evenings. Accommodation in La Gomera was clean and comfortable and well located. The hotel in Tenerife was an interesting contrast!

The Southern Spain trip was well-paced and included so many fun and interesting activities. I was surprised by how much I loved the afternoon in Cordoba, and I’d go back to Granada in a heartbeat. No doubt, my experiences were enhanced by the fantastic CEO we had, so organized and so fun. I want to do this trip all over again!

Our dream experience was turned in a magical reality! Spending Christmas and holiday in Spain and Portugal was the best thing that ever happened to me and my husband! Antonio our tour leader did an exemplary job and above and beyond for us! I got sick on this trip and he make sure I got the best tea in every meal and that helps me to recover better! He did an awesome job and everyone loves him! The iterinary of this trip is wonderful and very detailed and enjoyed every minute of this trip! I highly recommend this trip to everyone I knew! ??

Tess has been absolutely amazing. She brought the vibes and has been sooooo helpful. My case never arrived until the evening of day 2 of the trip & Tess helped me so much getting me some clothes & toiletries so I didn’t miss out on any of the plans. I also became ill by the end of the trip and Tess was constantly checking in on me & making sure I had eaten. I would love to go on another trip with Tess as the tour guide. Going on a solo trip was really out of my comfort zone and Tess made it all so fun and I’ve had the best time ever.

I had the best trip with Tess as tour leader. Tess was organised, fun, supportive and kind. She had great connections around the resort so we felt so welcome and included everywhere. From apres to night skiing, black slopes to spa time, the trip was filled with lifelong memories. I met pals for life on this trip! When I was sick, Tess went to the pharmacy for me and got all my meds and checked in on me repeatedly through the night. She was like a sister and a friend - she has great hair, rocks the colour red and an infectious smile and I feel grateful to have had her lead the trip.
