The itinerary was jammed packed with places to see using local experts who were passionate and enthusiastic. Insight Vacations added special little touches that truly stood out and left us looking to book our next big trip using Insight Vacations as well. Our Travel Director, Cem, was top-notch and attentive to each and every person in the group. Cem was both professional and personable and truly added to the magic of our group. Our Coach Driver, Pedro, was friendly and kept us safe at all times. This itinerary was very dynamic and on the go and we truly felt we got our money's worth.

The itinerary was absolutely perfect and so well planned out. Each day was such an amazing experience. Maite Martin was the most excellent tour director I’ve ever experienced. You should be so proud to have her on staff.

Fantastic week of cycling in a beautiful part of Spain. Exactly as described, we covered about 28 miles a day with about 40 on the final day, cycling through fields of wild poppies and flowers, traditional villages, almond trees, olive groves, hills (some pretty big) and some stunning views. Some climbs were steep and tough, and some cycling was on gravel tracks which some people found challenging. If you're not a regular cyclist, or mid-level fitness, an e-bike may be the best option - you can still cycle most of the way and use the extra power when you need it. Our guide, Miguel Angel, was perfect - patient, gentle, generous with his time. He looked after us exceptionally well and went the extra mile on numerous occasions, without fuss. He genuinely wanted to make sure we all had the best time possible - and we did. His knowledge of the area and route was comprehensive (he's a Murcia local), as was his knowledge of bikes - we had one puncture which he fixed in a flash, and we were on our way again. He really made a difference to the success of the trip. The accommodation was good but basic in some places - no problem though. The food and drinks in the evenings were all excellent, especially the last night when Miguel took us to an authentic, busy local restaurant in Murcia where he ordered an array of wonderful dishes for us all - definitely a highlight. A wonderful experience in a beautiful part of Spain.

We had a very enjoyable holiday. Our leader Juan Jose was excellent, very knowledgeable and pleasant. He and his family run the small hotel in Sotres, where we were based. It's pretty basic but quite adequate and very friendly. The group was very sociable and everyone enjoyed the 'craic' in the evening. One minor criticism:- I think the grading of the walk is a bit misleading and would grade it higher than moderate, mainly as the hikes were quite long and at times the ascents were prolonged. In summary:- a great holiday.

It is a nice full experience to see both the North and South of Spain. A lot of the optional excursions were good. The bus drivers and our tour director did a great job. Sometimes it felt rushed with just 1 night at a location, but it was cool to see so many cities in 18 days

I felt the Best of Spain offered by Trafalgar in addition to the optional experiences offered was a comprehensive tour of Spain. The tour gave me a good feel for the culture and history of Spain and the tour ignited my desire to return to Spain for a longer visit!
