This trip kept us all very busy. On the go from 7:30 a.m. on the bus & back to hotel 9 p.m.-10 p.m. some nights. A lot of driving on bus due to traveling through 2 countries & 12 cities or towns. When doing all optional tours, there was little free time to use. Our director was very knowledgeable on facts about each country.. She had a friendly personality along with keeping a watchful eye out for any possible problems.

Visiting multiple cities enabled us to learn about Spain, its history, and the people. The Southern cities were less crowded than the Northern areas such as Barcelona which was nice too. I especially enjoyed the visit to the olive farm with dinner and the visit to the jewelry artisan craft shop. Local guides were all excellent as was our overall guide, Atakan. For the time allowed, I felt we did as much as humanly possible. The hotels and the food were exceptional at each location as well. We very much enjoyed our trip!

The itinerary is packed with tours and travel but does include some free time. The tours and locations are fun and interesting. Our tour from May 25 to June 6 was much hotter than expected.

Tour is active..each day is filled with worthwhile sites. We had an awesome tour director and driver who made the trip that much better. Optional excursions all good value and memorable. The single traveller's seemed to be a part of everything as well. Do not book this trip for July or August..the heat will be absolutely oppressive and ruin experience. This trip a great review of Portugal and Spain..if thinking about it just do it as won't be disappointed.
