Budget Trips to Greece

Loved this tour. Highly recommend it to my friends . Loved our tour manager Theidora Findu. Excellent !! I want her on all my tours. She was very helpful , excellent knowledge of Greece and explained things very well. Thoughtful , I can’t say enough about her. Our tour guide at the Achropis knew her history and explained very well only tooo long. We just wanted to look around a bit after climbing all those steps to get up there. Just keep it short. Otherwise loved loved it. The Athens airport was a mess. I realize not your fault. But really ??? We were on line for 2and 1/2 hours customs. . No bathroom no food or drink.Absolutely no consideration for the people who are going to spend their money in that country. Herded around like cattle. Not pleasant experience at the airport. What made our trip special was our tour manager Theodora. Very accommodating. We feel lucky to have her guide us. Thank you.

As a seasoned traveler I was extremely impressed with Amanda’s management, caring and knowledge for our tour group. A pro sets the tone for the dynamics and Amanda is a star! I would go anyplace with her in charge.

I thought the trip was wonderful! I enjoyed the history and hearing the mythology stories from George, our tour manager. He is very knowledgeable. Seeing the Acropolis and the Parthenon was certainly a highlight. Naxos Island was beautiful! Riding out to the small villages and seeing the countryside was also a memorable experience for me.

The tone is set by the tour manager and I couldn’t ask for anybody better than George. He was knowledgeable, accommodated individuals needs and was available at all times.

Our tour director Sakis was absolutely amazing!! He took great care of all of us and provided excellent recommendations. He even spent his night off with us when we wanted to do a dinner show. Our entire group was very disappoined in our rooms at El Greco in Santorini. We had all paid for an upgraded room, which our travel agent said would have a water view and NONE of us had that. That seemed like money wasted, bc the additional fees did not get us the room category we paid for.

It was a wonderful two weeks made exceptional by our tour manager George giannapopulus. He made sure everyone was happy and kept us busy and entertained. He showed us how to use the metro, gave suggestions for lunch and dinner and walked us to the restaurants. He had so much pride for his country and made us all feel comfortable. We had many included meals and excursions. The boat day in Naxos was a highlight of our trip. Learning how to Greek dance at that magical place in Crete was fantastic. My only negative was lugging our luggage on and off the two ferries. George aided as much as he could and lifted many heavy bags. Also, some of the accommodations were not centrally located and could have been a better quality. The resort in Naxos was lovely outdoors, but the rooms were too small and not ready for the season.
