Greece Tours in Spring

The Greece tour was fast-paced and I recommend a slower pace so tourist could take a little more time. Also for this to be a faith experience there wasn’t any devotional time when riding the bus. Little to no time for meditation or reflections. Olga and Roberto were excellent at their job showing concern for their consumers.

Our tour director was personable, knowledgeable, and kept the pace of the tour on track. He was direct about the timing and gave the group sufficient time to time for departures etc.; his faith and biblical (as well as Greek history) added to this faith-based tour. Only one of the hotels used on this tour needed updating/renovations, the others were in great locations and modern. My favorite experiences were visiting the monasteries in Meteora; visiting Mary’s house; and the site of Lydia’s baptism.

The tour managers and teams went over and above the call of duty to make our tour enjoyable and memorable. The Isle of Patmos was my most memorable as it solidifies my reading of the book of Revelation. Seeing Paul’s prison cell was very touching; it reminds me that the rejection that I sometimes encounter in my attempt to spread the Gospel is nothing compared to what the disciples suffered. The entire pilgrimage made the New Testament real for me and I am happy I had the opportunity to experience it.

Fantastic walking in springtime Crete, wildflowers all around. There were only 4 of us ( where were you all) but we all got on well and had similar walking stamina. There were only highlight for me was the Soumaria gorge, from the sea upwards. Felt suitably tired but very pleased with myself at the end! The tour leader, Alex was great, very knowledgeable about the history of Crete and a keen walker himself. The Cretan people we met were lovely and the food, predictably was fantastic.

OMG better than I was expecting it to be!!! The trip manager was well organised, giving a brilliant iterinary for every new place we went, alongside recommendations of places to see, eat and do while there during our free time.

The included local experiences, food tastings and cultural encounters made us feel connected to the places we visited rather than just passing through them. Most of all, our Travel Director and driver were exceptional. Their professionalism, knowledge, care and sense of humour made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a tour that combines ancient history, spectacular scenery, authentic Greek culture and premium travel experiences, I highly recommend Greece Undiscovered.
