Greece Art architecture Trips

The trip was great and our tour director Lisa was excellent. Because Greece is mountainous there is a lot of walking up hill and down again so it is not a trip suited for so some people.

Chose that tour so I could experience the mainland of Greece as well as the islands. Probably would have preferred 2 nights on each island instead of 3 with Crete included. The mainland was beautiful with so much history and excellent local guides. The weather was perfect in May. Would definitely recommend the tour!

We liked that we were 2 nights at every location. We were able to see & experience local sites you can't see from a cruise ship excursion. This wasn't the typical tourist islands, but so much more of the ancient historical areas of Greece. Visiting the Archaeologica historical sites was most intriguing. Also, got to experience the local life, like beekeeping, olive oil making & local dining.

The hotels were excellent, the coach was comfortable, and everything was organised seamlessly. We especially loved the time spent in Crete, which was a real highlight of the trip. The included local experiences, food tastings and cultural encounters made us feel connected to the places we visited rather than just passing through them. Most of all, our Travel Director and driver were exceptional. Their professionalism, knowledge, care and sense of humour made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a tour that combines ancient history, spectacular scenery, authentic Greek culture and premium travel experiences, I highly recommend Greece Undiscovered. It truly was a trip of a lifetime.

A very pleasant trip around the Peloponnese. The hotels were better than expected. The leader, George was well organised and looked after us very well. The driver, also named George, was extremely safe, he kept his luxurious Mercedes van spotlessly clean, in and out. He was friendly, generous and had a good sense of humour. We really enjoyed our trip, the experience and, cherry on the cake, the weather was excellent. Thank you Explore.

The itinerary had us visiting all of the major sights in Greece at a reasonable pace. We also got to most of the sights before the crowds which enabled us to enjoy them a lot more.
