Group Trips to Greece

An excellent 15 day tour of the former Yugoslavia. Now seven countries plus Albania, Hungry and Greece. Lots of miles/kilometres and early starts, but well worth the effort. Very knowledgeable tour leader (Peter K) and local guides. travelled with a nice group of people from across the world. Would suggest a little bit of research before your departure to maximise the benefits of visiting these similar but unique countries.

Way too many great adventures to list here! It was a VERY enjoyable experience, visited many more places than I could have imagined. It was truly a wonderful time with a great group of strangers that quickly became friends. Our tour guide was incredible, she prepared us for each week, day, island, whatever ! She took total responsibility for everyone and always made sure every person was accommodated for all situations; not a easy task for our rather large group, She also was very professional yet made everyone feel like they were very special and part of her “family.” She was exceptional!

Another fab walking holiday with Explore. Pan our guide was very knowledgeable, had great people skills and not one to immediately move off when I caught up. I was confident all the time he would keep us safe. My only small gripe is, despite having paid a single supplement , there was a tendency for the hotels to give the better rooms to the couples.

A superb holiday if you love walking. All the accommodation was comfortable and at times better than expected. Our guide, Spiros, was superb. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife and we loved him sharing his passion for the countryside with us. He knew the good Cafes and restaurants to take us to- even where does the best coffee- all these small tips were very helpful. We walked at a good pace, which is what I wanted in this trip. We often ended the day with a swim in the sea. It's a perfect way of seeing the island, at a slow pace, and taking time to notice all the beauties of nature.

Tour manager was the best. This was my fifth tour with Collette and this was the best. Of course it was hard not to love Greece, its beauty, the food, and of course the people. Amanda Phillip’s went above and beyond throughout the entire tour. She is knowledgeable, funny, kind, knows everyone in the hotels, restaurants and shops. Gave great recommendations for where to go and or eat during free time. She helped people with the WhatsApp and some with their tour extension information. She created an atmosphere of respect and kindness which made the entire group of 39 diverse people became one big happy family. Only down side was the location of the final day. Hotel was located in the middle of no where and the buffet dinner was awful. Would have been better if the hotel was closed to attractions we were left with a wasted day. Providing a shuttle into the city may have helped. I also think that Collette should call you to walk through the air flights. Some people are willing to pay more for direct flights but are not given options.

There is definitely a lot of walking lol It was an amazing trip The itinerary was great and our tour guide Anna was amazing and also the other tour guides The best part for me was the archeological tour in Mykrinos I am definitely going to try to go on another tour I am interested in the WW 1 and WW2 tour
