The BEST trip & the BEST guide !!

I would recommend this trip to anyone considering it! There’s no way I could have planned such an amazing trip and fit so much into 10 days! Our guide Jose has been amazing, he absolutely made our trip and I can’t imagine how it could have been improved. He is completely organised, considerate and brings a fun energy to the trip that made the whole experience an unforgettable one! He is so knowledgeable about all things Costa Rica and his recommendations were always fantastic. He absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we had the trip of a lifetime and I can’t thank him enough 🫶🏻

Costa Rica - Gals Who Travel

Jose was a brilliant tour guide on the Costa Rica Gals Who Travel. As soon as we met Jose, he was so friendly and welcoming. Always approachable if you needed any help and brought such a positive energy to the trip. His recommendations were great and was very knowledgeable about all places in Costa Rica we visited. He was also great at spotting wildlife from sloths to whales! I would definitely go on another tour with Jose as the guide. The overall trip had a great mix of included excursions and extras from night safari to an island tour. It’s a great way to explore Costa Rica!

Costa Rica

Jose was great fun, it was lovely to see the local spots from a local himself. It was also nice to have a male figure on the Gals who travel trip as it made us all feel a lot safer. The whole process was smooth and it was great not to have to think about anything logistical!

The best 10 days

Jose -Josie - JP, thank you for making my first time in Costa Rica / Central America incredible as well as first time on a Tru Travels trip. I’ve had the most amazing time seeing a new country and learning so much about your beautiful home. You have been very patient with all 14 girls, who are all different and met each other for the first time. You brought the energy and made sure we experienced everything we possibly could in the 10 days we were together. Its the most amazing trip and I would recommend to anyone who is considering it.

Travel experience and benefits of Costa Rica group tours

  • You will need a tour guide before you are allowed into national parks like Corcovado, and a group tour takes care of that.
  • If you have a tight schedule, a group tour is the best way to visit the most number of places in the least amount of time.
  • Touring as a group is cost-effective, for you will be sharing your accommodation, meal and transport expenses. If you are a budget traveler, joining a group trip is a good way to save up.
  • You will gain access to challenging destinations like the Monteverde Cloud Forest when you have a local tour guide with you.

Tips when doing a Costa Rica group tour

  • Many of the beaches and waterfalls in Costa Rica do not have lifeguards. So look after your own safety as well as your traveling mates.
  • You can save money by making small purchases in local currency.
  • Many restaurants and beaches along the Pacific Coast close during the peak of the rainy season. So plan your trip to the Caribbean Coast between September and October.
