Monteverde’s cloud forests are the byproduct of fog, a thick, low-hanging cloud, tangling amongst the leaves and branches of the forest canopy. We will among others enjoy a very nice hike here. We loved the trip but the packing list was not correct. I packed shampoo and stuff that the resorts provided which wasted room and weight in my luggage. Also there was no need for water purification tablets. We didn't need a whistle or an outlet adapter so I would take these off the list since they take up space in the luggage. A poncho is a must. Everyone we worked with was very professional and positive
