Costa Rica 12-Day Tours and Trips

We need a word to describe this trip: When you have expectations, images, and ideas. Yet they all prove to be pathetic, for the reality is much fuller--full of casual sloths, jumping off of waterfalls, picking cacao fruits in someone's backyard, practicing Spanish with locals, spying on a tapir through binoculars at Corcovado National Park. The trip with G Adventures (and most importantly, with Marina), sparked joy in unimaginable way.

We can't thank Alexander enough for planning an amazing vacation for our family! Everything went incredibly smoothly. We visited the Arenal Volcano, Monteverde Cloud Forest and Manual Antonio Beach. Alejandro was the best guide anyone could ask for! His superior knowledge of the animals and the plants, the geology of the area, the climate and weather patterns and the general culture of Costa Rica helped us learn so much, while having a fun time. We got along so great with him and even miss him! Every hotel chosen for us was beyond beautiful and exceeded our expectations. All of the tours were informational and helped us to reconnect with nature. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone at the travel team who helped us create such wonderful memories. Pura Vida!

I can say without a doubt that our trip was fantastic. The only thing I can complain about is that the monkeys weren`t running around all over the place as we had hoped, but that of course has nothing to do with your company. You all were great in securing our lodgings and transfers! All our hotels just seemed to get increasingly better as the trip progressed. Our guides and drivers were friendly and knowledgeable. We have already recommended this operator to someone we met on the trip! Thanks again for helping to make our stay memorable!

Overall, I give this experience a 10/10. It was my first international trip solo and I had the best time ever. The option to stay an extra night on either end of the trip was perfect. The option for transportation to and from the airport was really appreciated, as I was by myself in a new country. I got to experience so many parts of Costa Rica in a two-week period that I would not have been able to do if I was alone. I am already looking for my next trip to book. I will be a G customer for a long time and recommend it to anyone who will listen!

My wife and I just returned from an amazing 11-day trip to Costa Rica. Yuliana helped us to put together a private tour designed specifically for us. No amount of time and effort would have let us do it ourselves. We were most interested in the landscape and animals, and our private driver was able to take us to fabulous sights. We stayed in unusual accommodations including a tree house in the jungle and a villa at the Arenal volcano. I have traveled to many countries before, mostly with the tour operator. I've been to at least 30 European countries, but this is definitely my new favourite destination and tour. To reach Colombia I had to undertake a few flights, this is the main reason why I choose this tour in the first place as it also includes Panama and Costa Rica - and make it worth the long return trip. Everybody was concerned when they heard I'm traveling to Colombia, but I felt save every single moment and I think Colombians are the most friendly and sincere people ever! The destinations on the Colombia part of the tour is stunning, and a perfect balance of cities, nature, food, drinks and attractions. Bogota walking tour was a surprize, so was Armenia coffee region. Medellin was unbelievable (I watched Narcos on Netflix before this!), but I so much enjoyed the destinations of St Marta and Cartagena on the Caribbean coast. There was even a resort stay on our own private beach with sunset dinner on the beach included! Panama City ... well a big city with all the things of a a big city. But, the Jungle is always just 10 minutes away and being from a engineering background, was fabulous to see so much of the famous Panama Canal! The included flight to Bocas del Toro was so fast and again, 2 full more days of Caribbean and plenty of Islands. And another private beach resort! The border crossing to Costa Rica was interesting - you have to walk across a bridge with your bags - followed by the drive up the coast and then to Arenal. The next 6 days is just pure overwhelming beautiful nature. I saw so many animals and wild life - including sloths! I can write so much more! But... just book the tour and see it yourself.
