Costa Rica 12-Day Tours and Trips

Transfers were on time, or would call if the time changed. All drivers were polite and courteous. We loved Mountain Paradise Resort in Arenal, and Almonds & Corals in Puerto Viejo. But, really all the hotels were very nice, and each in a different way. The guides and drivers were both great, and even let us stop at a supermarket on our way back to our hotel for some supplies. Thank you for your help in arranging this tour. My husband and I used your company a couple of years ago, and I would definitely recommend you to any friends who want to travel to Costa Rica.

The trip was well rounded with as much (or little) action as you like and I loved all of it. The group was great and we had a lot of fun together. Our CEO was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a couple of active weeks in Costa Rica!

Collette tours did an excellent job of planning our trip. Including air fare, multiple hotel arrangements (6 differet ones) transportation, and all the different excursions. We saw a sea turtle laying eggs on the beach as well as monkeys around our hotel, crocodile tour, zip lining, white water rafting, and a banana plantation process start to finish. We saw sloths, toucan, macaw, as well as a variety of other birds. Our tour guide, Martha (Marta) was unbelievable in her knowledge of the local areas, the history and traditions.

Our guide was so knowledgeable about the flora and fauna as well as the history and current conditions of Costa Rica and surrounding countries. Learning is so much a part of what we want to experience while traveling. This was an excellent opportunity. A bonus is how absolutely gorgeous Costa Rica is.

We need a word to describe this trip: When you have expectations, images, and ideas. Yet they all prove to be pathetic, for the reality is much fuller--full of casual sloths, jumping off of waterfalls, picking cacao fruits in someone's backyard, practicing Spanish with locals, spying on a tapir through binoculars at Corcovado National Park. The trip with G Adventures (and most importantly, with Marina), sparked joy in unimaginable way.

Our tour manager was fantastic! So knowledgeable about all things Costa Rica- the country, the culture, the history, the animals and birds etc!! I feel like we were given the total essence of Costa Rica- the Caribbean, rainforest, lava fields, the Pacific -what a beautiful country!!
