About Olman

I was born in Turrialba, a region in Costa Rica famous for hosting the Guayabo Archeological Monument, the oldest and most important pre-hispanic archeological site in the country. Turrialba is also known for being the most active Costarican Volcano, and home to one of the best rafting rivers in the world— the Pacuare River. Since I was little I liked to experience new places and cultures. When I grew up and studied tourism, I felt that people around the world should be allowed to know the wonders that our country has to offer. I have discovered many places, from mountains, beaches, and national parks to cities and the countryside. I love adventurous activities such as zip lining, canyoning, rafting, climbing, and horseback riding. I have the experience of having done most activities that Costa Rica is known for, so I can help travelers make the most of their time so they can have an unforgettable experience!

My years of experience traveling around Costa Rica include the following topics: Hiking in all the national parks, nature, adventure tours, rafting trips, horseback riding within the jungle, snorkeling beach experiences, bird watching, photographic tours, treehouse lodging in Boca Tapada, meat the locals at Finca Sura, one-day Bri Bri indigenous experience tour within a chocolate farm, coffee tasting, unique family adventure trips and more. I specialize in all of these!

Olman's Best Travel Experience

I have had many memorable trips to places like the Caribbean Coast, Corcovado National Park, Arenal Volcano, and Central Pacific Coast, however, one of the best experiences was when I was 19 years old and I visited the Guanacaste Province on the North Pacific Coast for a week. During that week I rented a motorcycle and explored as many beaches as possible. I discovered beaches like Langosta, Brasilito, Playa Grande, Conchal, Tamarindo, Potrero and Brasilito, Pan de Azucar, Nosara, Samara, Ostional. I had an especially unique experience seeing thousands of turtles at Ostional Beach.
