Our Tour Guide cools not have been better. He made the holiday for us along with Christian , and excellent and safe driver. Costa Rica is an exceptional place to visit and I enjoyed almost every minute. The exception would be the so called " Chocolate Tour" which was not as expected , tedious and patronising. In total contrast to the excellent coffee tour. Hotels were very good . Wildlife fantastically varied and interesting. I would definitely recommend it to others

Costa Rica is a beautiful and fascinating country with extraordinary wildlife. The tour pace was busy but as described. Our guide, Diego, and driver, Ronny, looked after us well. Both helped spot and identify wildlife that, had we not been on the tour, we would have missed the majority of. The tour did include regular hotel moves and the only criticism we had was that one hotel was not as described in the final itinerary document. Thank you Explore, Ronny and especially Diego.

A beautiful trip, with plenty of time to view birds. Our guide Oscar took such good care of us. He offered us opportunities to view birds, a sunrise, and to go for walks even when the Explore itinerary told us we had free time. He was also very knowledgeable. Oscar knew just where to look for wildlife. Oscar would ask our driver to pull over where he had spotted a sloth or birds, or thought he would. He could tell us about all that we saw, and always answered questions. Our driver was also excellent, navigating what I would find impossible roads safely with grace. My first time in Costa Rica, second tour solo with Explore.

This was a super trip. It was just disappointing that our final accommodation was so far from the Pacific Ocean/beach. From the trip notes, it sounded like we would be by the sea as we were on the Caribbean coast. I was so looking forward to spending our last nights by the coast.

JC is a brilliant tour leader he is very enthusiastic and does everything so that we can find the wildlife. The accommodation was very nice, staying in lovely lodge type accommodation in many of the places we stopped. Would highly recommend this tour

We totally enjoyed our cycling tour in Costa Rica!!! Saw beautiful landscapes, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, volcanoes!! The wildlife viewing opportunities were so exciting!! Our tour leader Carlos was the perfect combination of safety officer, teacher of the geography and culture of his beautiful country, language instructor, and best of all, really fun guy!! No issues were unsolvable for Carlos, the whole trip ran very smoothly. He and our driver Johnny kept us moving comfortably throughout, a short AC breakdown was quickly repaired. We were introduced to some lovely Costa Rican people who shared their pride and passion for their country. I would absolutely recommend this tour!!!
