Costa Rica 5-Day Tours and Trips

Our overall experience was fantastic, we had a phenomenal guide, Rey Salazar. Rey's enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the wildlife, flora, and fauna greatly enriched our trip. He ensured everyone spotted the wildlife, explained the history of each area, and translated everything for our diverse group. Despite some disappointment with the paved paths limiting our jungle exploration, we understood the conservation aspect. Our accommodations were excellent with Fleur De Lys Hotel in San Jose providing a central location and helpful staff, particularly Brian, and Pachira Lodge offering a delightful "glamping" experience with friendly staff and delicious food. Transportation was smooth, with a considerate bus driver and an incredible boat ride. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience.

We had a great trip. It was an amazing way to see a country in a short space of time on a limited budget. It didn't feel like being rushed about - we had a nice amount of free time and alone time to do our own things. Our group was really special and really added to my experience.

Everything was booked ahead of time, we didn't have to worry about hotels, transportation, or food (as some in our party were vegetarian)! Mario answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about everything Costa Rica. While driving to our excursions, Mario went above and beyond by pointing out toucans that flew in front of us as well as stopping to observe the howler monkeys, buffalos, and pineapple crops. Mario also helped us customize our trip by adding an extra day to our tour. At the end of our trip, Mario gifted us some local coffee and key chains as well!We went to Costa Rica June 2021 and were very impressed with the country's covid regulations (we had to wear masks and wash our hands before entering any establishment) which made us feel very safe.Overall, we would recommend Greenway Tours to anyone and happily book with them in the future. Tortuguero was full of great nature, although the heat and lack of fans and air conditioning can be brutal at times. Puerto Viejo/Cocles was our favorite and it was great to see the Caribbean side of Costa Rica; all of the experiences there were fantastic as well. Overall, we enjoyed our honeymoon and hope to make it back to Costa Rica to visit the other side of the coast in the future!

You did a wonderful job orchestrating our trip. The transfers and activities worked seamlessly. With so many differently hotels and transfers I was pleasantly surprised that we did not encounter any issues. Thanks so much for your attention to detail and making our trip worry-free. This trip was great value for the money.

I have always been an all inclusive resort guy until my fiance brought me on this "jungle adventure ". Everything leading up to this I was skeptical and definitely not a good travel partner. The moment we hooked up with Manuel our guide and he took control, it absolutely changed my opinion about everything. This man was extremely knowledgeable and warm to all guests on this tour. This was the trip of a lifetime and we are already planning our next G adventures for our trip to Italy 2025
