Two weeks in Costa Rica getting to explore the country's most beautiful and diverse sites was one of the most incredible adventures I have been on. The fact that all places are so unique and diverse from one another and getting to see incredible wildlife throughout the trip was fantastic.

Sometimes it felt of beeing on an 18 to 30 ish journey not a classic one I used to book. Maybe I did not read the small print close enough but in the end it was fine and also the nice people in our group made the journey easier and very pleasant at some times especially in the first part of the trip and as well Christian as our leader.

Oh my gosh! I had the absolute best time in Costa Rica. Our guide Juan Carlos had ALL the knowledge. We asked him everything, history, culture, plants, animals, birds, trees, weather and he had all the answers. My favorite thing was his sense of humor. He always made us laugh and feel welcome. The drivers were amazing too! Ronny was able to spot all the wildlife without any binoculars. Christian was super friendly and engaging as well. My favorite was watching the Green Sea turtles nesting. Such a magical experience. The whale watching was incredible. Whitewater rafting was a blast and lunch was really delicious on the shore. So many amazing memories and such warm and wonderful people. I highly recommend this trip to anyone and demand JC as your guide. Just absolutely the best.

My experience with Explore was the best I could ever have. From the beginning of the organisation till the last day of the trip it was excellent. It was my first trip with Explore, but it will definitely not my last one. The group was great, 10 people, 2 couples, 6 solo travellers. Our guide Juan Carlos was excellent, he gave us a feeling of being a family , he knows everything about animals, plants , Costa Rica. He was always there for all needs. A great trip! I really liked seeing four very different destinations and the activities on offer meant it was an exciting trip. Plenty of opportunities to see wildlife - including unexpected whale watching. Some of the hotels are more basic but they didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Our tour guide, Manny, was great - professional and friendly - and ensured we all had the best time in Costa Rica. It was so nice being able to have so many incredible experiences without having to think about booking them or how I was going to travel between them, even when dinners/ lunches weren’t provided Manny showed us some great places. The activities were all pretty amazing too!
