Costa Rica 11-Day Tours and Trips

This tour did a few amazing things at once: it transported me back to childhood with all of the adventures; it broadened my historical and cultural knowledge immensely (though I did arrive with basically none); and it provided a fun, exciting, and relaxing atmosphere that resulted in a beautiful mental/emotional reset for me. I left this tour feeling rejuvenated and reinvigorated. I am so grateful.

Transfers were on time, or would call if the time changed. All drivers were polite and courteous. We loved Mountain Paradise Resort in Arenal, and Almonds & Corals in Puerto Viejo. But, really all the hotels were very nice, and each in a different way. The guides and drivers were both great, and even let us stop at a supermarket on our way back to our hotel for some supplies. Thank you for your help in arranging this tour. My husband and I used your company a couple of years ago, and I would definitely recommend you to any friends who want to travel to Costa Rica.

Costa Rica surpassed all my expectations! I would have never thought there was a resort inside a jungle that takes one, a long boat ride to get to! The people I met, starting at the airports all the way back to the airport and all those in between were excellently trained, prepared and very knowledgeable! Very kind!!! I learned so much regarding natural resources and the environment. Learning about and meeting the good people who reside in Costa Rica! Thank you for offering a really detailed and informative tour!

I've had the most amazing 10 day experience in Costa Rica with this tour company. The tour was very well thought of, having a great balance of thrilling activities and rest moments. Our guide Manu was amazing from start to finish, making sure everyone was having a good time and finding the best restaurants and party spots in each city. Very beautiful country, mind blowing scenery and adrenaline packed activities, everything was there to make this trip unforgettable.

My BFF and I recently spent 12 days in Costa Rica. We followed the 9 day itinerary and added 2 extra days. Using Charlie the Traveler was the best decision we could have made regarding this trip. From our arrival pick up in Liberia airport to our departure drop off in San Jose airport, there was not one complaint or concern throughout our time in CR. The itinerary was well laid out and planned. We were able to see many of CR's beautiful landscapes and topography. Beautiful beaches, volcanoes, waterfalls, rain/cloud forest, wild life, etc...We saw it all!! The coordinat- ion and planning of this trip by Charlie was perfect. We were able to enjoy our trip without any hassles, getting lost, standing in lines, or trying to figure out what to see or where to go. We were also given a 24 hr. on call concierge for any questions or concerns. Such peace of mind for navigating a foreign country. We were provided a full detailed itinerary that included what to wear or bring to an excursion and times to show up in lobby. We cannot speak highly enough about Charlie the Traveler! We are definately going to book our next adventure through Charlie! If you are not a fan of planning a vacation on your own...try it out! The trip to Costa Rica included so many awesome experience opportunities. I had so many experiences that I would not have thought of including in this trip. This is why I was glad I chose CharlieTheTraveler. If I planned this trip, it would not have been as exciting.
