We booked a 4 hour tour with a private driver and van. Very nice! Jordi, our driver was very knowledgeable and passionate about Barcelona, which made the day enjoyable and educational. He knew all about the history of this beautiful city and shared it in detail. He was friendly and extremely kind. Booking was as easy as sending an email with details, providing a small deposit and being picked up when we arrived! Bonus: Jordi spoke very clear English, which was fantastic for us, being from Canada. Thank you Jordi for being the BEST tour guide and for making our visit so memorable!

We booked a day trip around Barcelona and Montserrat with a driver - Marta, and it was perfect. Matra was amazing with local knowledge and communication during our trip, she was a great communicator, fun, kind, respectful and helpful and went above and beyond with every detail and we loved our time with Marta - making our day in Barcelona better than we could have hoped for. I have just returned from a weeks walking in Gran Canaria and it exceeded all expectations. Great hosting by Ben and Rosie, lovely accommodation, spectacular walks that were expertly set for the skill level of the group. Group size was small so we received a very personal service. If you want to escape to some winter sun, undertake beautiful walks with lovely company at a very reasonable price, do not hesitate to book this tour. Thanks for looking after us so well and we will be back!

What an amazing Holliday we have had. Fresh back from a 6 day hiking holiday in Gran Canaria and absolutely buzzing from the experience. Our group was mixed ability and Rosie and Ben were excellent at attending to the different needs of the group. Everything was so well planned, taking all of the hassle out and leaving us to thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking views and absorb the Canarian culture. Rosie and Ben were fabulous guides and even more fabulous companions, giving us loads of laughs, lots of culture, a wealth of geological and botanical knowledge, and above all, a blossoming friendship. It is honestly the best holiday I have ever had and I’m now planning another bespoke trip for my family with this tour operator. Can’t wait.

Great itinerary, we looked over the choices and felt this specific itinerary was best for us to see both Spain and Portugal. Great guides both local and full trip! Bus driver very polite and cordial. SuperiorWe really enjoyed this trip through Spain. Sonia was the ultimate tour leader, always looking after our every need and constantly surprising us with unexpected views and special treats! She was there every evening to ensure we tried all the local food and helped us with our selections. We couldn’t have asked for more! The hotels we stayed in were a constant surprise, from convents to castles! The group of 18 were all of a similar age and interest and we all fitted together well. We would highly recommend this tour.

Overall great trip, the small group size was perfect, and our tour leader Monik was simply amazing, super knowledgeable, always friendly and helpful and making sure everyone was included and happy. The only suggestion I can think is for improving the trip itinerary for the drive day from Porto to Madrid as there were no sights to visit along the way, just a stop for lunch at a roadside service station near the Spain/Portugal border. Maybe worth flying for that leg instead. Also I wish I’d known to book an extra night in Barcelona at the end of the trip, as you arrive in the evening on the last day and won’t have time to do much there unless staying an extra night. Also prior to the trip it was quite difficult to contact Topdeck customer service about my booking, they did not reply to any emails, I eventually got it sorted via a phone call.
