Exceeded All Expectations

I have just returned from a weeks walking in Gran Canaria and it exceeded all expectations. Great hosting by Ben and Rosie, lovely accommodation, spectacular walks that were expertly set for the skill level of the group. Group size was small so we received a very personal service. If you want to escape to some winter sun, undertake beautiful walks with lovely company at a very reasonable price, do not hesitate to book this tour. Thanks for looking after us so well and we will be back!

An Amazing Holiday

What an amazing Holliday we have had. Fresh back from a 6 day hiking holiday in Gran Canaria and absolutely buzzing from the experience. Our group was mixed ability and Rosie and Ben were excellent at attending to the different needs of the group. Everything was so well planned, taking all of the hassle out and leaving us to thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking views and absorb the Canarian culture. Rosie and Ben were fabulous guides and even more fabulous companions, giving us loads of laughs, lots of culture, a wealth of geological and botanical knowledge, and above all, a blossoming friendship. It is honestly the best holiday I have ever had and I’m now planning another bespoke trip for my family with this tour operator. Can’t wait.

Best experience

I joined their 2021 west highland way tour and walked 96 miles in 7 days which was the best experience for me. Our tour guides, Rosie and Ben, were extremely helpful, kind, considerate, and professional. It was my first time to walk multiple days continuously and I would not be able to complete 96 miles without their advices and encouragements. I highly recommend joining tours orgainsed by the tour operator.

8 Days / 7 Nights - Hiking Highlights Of Gran Canaria trip - alternative tour available
Gran Canaria is truly an island of extremes. It is of course well known for its popular beach resorts and year-round temperate climate, but we introduce our groups to a wonderfully different aspect of this diverse Canarian island on the Hiking Highlights of Gran Canaria. It offers amazing path networks which allow for superb walking within the dramatic mountainous interior including natural parks, spectacular gorges, distinctive rock formations and true Canarian hospitality in the picturesque villages where we sample local speciality dishes. Wintertime and early spring in the Canary Islands are a great time to choose a walking tour as the temperatures are still warm and pleasant but generally without being uncomfortably hot for walking. We carefully select all our accommodation which is a mix of modern and traditional apartments and hotels within beautiful coastal and mountain villages so that our clients feel immersed in the local culture.

10 Day / 9 Nights - Island Hopping Walking Tour trip - alternative tour available
This wonderfully diverse 5 island hopping whisky and walking tour incorporating the island of Arran and the islands of the Inner Hebrides, offers a taste of Scotland in every way you can imagine! Walking overdramatic mountains and through lush valleys, relaxing ferry journeys with superb views, and some of the best Malt whisky Distillery tours Scotland has to offer. We begin the adventure with 2 nights on Arran where we ascend majestic Goatfell mountain and visit the mystical Machrie Moor standing stones and enjoy a tour of Arran’s highly regarded whisky distillery. We have several tastings and at least one distillery tour during our time here as well as some beautiful walks including stunning coastlines and snippets of the island’s history. From here we take a short ferry journey over to the isle of Jura for a magnificent mountain ascent as well as a visit to Jura distillery. Our next island is Mull where we are based for 4 nights giving us plenty of time to explore this magical isle including a mountain walk on Scotland’s most westerly ‘Munro’ (listed mountain over 3000 feet) and a day visit to the small fascinating island of Ulva where we do a delightful circular walk on this lesser know community-owned and run island.
