Italy Chill out Tour Reviews
Honest insights from past guests on our Chill out Italy tours
Tour of the Great Synogogue of Rome in the Ghetto of Rome, which we did on our own after the walking tour of Rome which ended in the Ghetto. The other unforgettable experience was the tour of Pompey
Our tour of Rome and the Amalfi Coast with Colette in October, traveling with the Howie Carr Show, was truly outstanding. Enzio, our tour guide, was exceptional—so knowledgeable and engaging. His knowledge of the history of Italy was outstanding and always ready with an answer to every question. It’s hard to choose just one favorite, but I especially loved exploring Rome, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. The visit to the Lacryma Christi winery, where we enjoyed lunch and a walk through the vineyards, was another highlight. We enjoyed beautiful afternoons exploring the Amalfi Coast. And I would be remiss not to mention how special it was to have dinner with Howie Carr. We sat next to each other, and it was such a pleasure—thank you, Howie, it was very nice meeting you! This was truly the trip of a lifetime, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the beauty and history of Rome and the Amalfi Coast.
The whole tour was amazing! Loved the diverse experience between Rome and the Amalfi Coast. Rome had the Colosseum. Spanish steps, churches, the Jewish Ghetto and beautiful fountains. The Amalfi Coast had stunning mountain and water views, the narrow streets with quaint shops paved with lava stone with beautiful ceramics for purchase that were painted with serene landscapes of the area. Both locations had amazing dinning, we thoroughly enjoyed the food tour in Rome and the Collette provided dinners were truly amazing. My wife and I will definitely be traveling with Collette in the near future.
We especially enjoyed the visit to the winery/farm & also the family who makes the fresh mozzarella/pizza. Both those events were very special. Christian Cueva made our experience exceptionally good as a tour manager. He was caring, knowledgeable & professional, along with truly caring about our experience.
This was not just your typical see the forty churchs and ruins. I enjoyed the optional tours and dinners and the experiences that were included. Our tour guide was excellent as well.
This was my first Contiki and it was so much fun! We got to see so many places you likely wouldn't get to see if you were trying to get around Tuscany on your own. Note there is nowhere to go out at night by the Hotel, so I wouldn't recommend to people wanting that.
