The itinerary was awesome. We would have liked to stay a little longer in some places we enjoyed but we understood we had lot on our agenda and we had a really good flavor of Italy. Vivien the tour director was awesome, very knowledgeable, and very nice and considerate. The bus driver was awesome too.! The food was exceptional! Homemade pasta was delicious. All the guests got along with each other very well. Amazing weather too.

Insight vacations were excellent. Optional extras that we chose to do were very good. Felt travel guide and driver always had our best interests at heart. Our travel guide even stopped a person from being pick pocketed in Venice. 13 days was perfect. Sometimes thought it would have been nice to stay a bit longer but that was only because of the beautiful places we visited. Hotels and baggage was well organised. Had a wonderful time on this holiday!!

day 2 - Vatican City and Rome with a Local
Your day is devoted to the Eternal City. Join a Local Expert for an in-depth visit to the Vatican Museums, full of priceless art treasures collected by the Popes. Visit the Sistine Chapel, where Popes are elected, to admire Michelangelos famous ceiling. Cross the Tiber River to enjoy ancient Rome and see the incredible Circus Maximus. Admire the beautifully preserved Arch of Constantine, walking on the ancient pavement.
