We were so pleased with our Tour guide, Muris and each destination. He was so knowledgeable, we learned so much. Unforgettable adventure!
A fun way to travel, it was nice to have the hotels and transportation arranged. Trafalgar could improve on their communication regarding optional experiences, Information was provided last minute as well as the extra costs.
This is as a wonderful trip/tour! It was very well planned for us to see all the beautiful historic landmarks in Rome, Florence, and Venice. Our tour director Franco was awesome!
This trip was excellent because of the tour guide. has a passion for travel and a vest knowledge about Italy. He was able to share that information to our group in a casual and friendly manner. I would love to book another trip with if I knew in advance what tours he was doing. I have tried to call Trafalgar to ask about tour guides and they say they do not know who is doing the tour until right before the tour starts. I do not think this is true. I did not enjoy the local tour guides. We went to a small town that I would have loved to just walk around because we only had a couple hours and instead the tour guide just talked and talked and we were not able to enjoy the local shops or restaurants. I would have left the tour but I did not want to appear rude. One complaint I have is that there were no English television stations in any of the hotels. In this day of Satellites and computers and chips, I would think they would be able to put some American channels in the hotels because there are many American tourists in Italy.
Fabulous time! Saw so many wonderful historic places. We met so many wonderful people and our guide was great. So fun and informative. You can tell he loves his homeland.
