Guillia put a great self-drive tour together for us and Susana looked after us as we travelled.
(Even when we got lost)
The car and accommodation was good and the guides patient and informative.
Only issue we had was parking in small villages, garages, and cities.
Apart from the parking we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, thank you.

The tour director rotated the seating on the bus, posting the seating every morning; however, as is usual, toward the end of the tour, people began sitting where they wished. I never saw seating at the front of the bus...oh well, the views from the back were ok. This travel group is famous for laying out a plan at the initial meeting prior to the first trip, and then it's heck for those of us who follow the rules after we're run down by those who don't even know how to spell "manners" or proper etiquette. The trip directors should grow a pair...don't make rules if you don't intend to enforce them. This trip turned out to be for those who love to shop....not me....I wanted to see the sights. With one exception, the hotels were very lackluster. One of the hotels was a dump, mold on walls, cracks in the walls and baseboards.....another two night stay was at a hotel where teens and younger people played in the streets outside our room until 10 pm both nights. All in all, I must agree with my friends from Australia......I'm done....I'll do my own trip the next time.

We saw a lot of beautiful places!
It would have been nice to have had longer than 45 minutes to stay in some of the smaller villages along the way. We were very disappointed that we missed Cefalu due to a construction issue, as that was a city with family ties. Palermo was underwhelming. Sorrento and Capri were amazing! The first hotel in Rome was very nice, as were the ones by the beach.
The farm/restaurant excursions were very good, but it would have been nice to have had a cooking class as an optional excursion. There were a lot of excursions that you had to pay for and were not included with the tour, so if you did not go on them, then you missed seeing something. That was disappointing especially, from a financial standpoint. The church in Menoula (?) was the most beautiful church I have ever seen! Tour guide was good and driver was excellent!
